“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ Thus says the Lord!’ Say:‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened And also polished!

“人子啊，你要预言。耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要说预言，告诉他们，耶和华这样说，“‘有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要预言，说：‘主耶和华这样说：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

「人子啊，你要預言。耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

「人子啊，你要說預言，告訴他們，耶和華這樣說，『有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要預言，說：‘主耶和華這樣說：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

『人子啊，你要傳神言說：主這麼說：你要說：有刀，有刀，又磨快，又擦亮；

人子歟、當預言曰、耶和華云、有刃有刃、既利且光、

人子、當傳我命曰、磨礪鋒刃、光芒四射。

人子、爾述預言曰、主如是云、當曰、有刃也、即磨利之刃、又已磨光焉、

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword, sharpened and polished—

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:’ Say,‘ A sword, a sword sharpened And also polished!

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Say, A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished;

“ Son of man, prophesy: This is what the Lord says! You are to proclaim: A sword! A sword is sharpened and also polished.

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

“ Son of man, prophesy and say:‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also polished.

and say to the land of Israel,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ Behold, I am against you, and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off both righteous and wicked from you.

It is drawn, and comes out of the body; Yes, the glittering point comes out of his gall. Terrors come upon him;

“ And you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ Thus says the Lord God concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach,’ and say:‘ A sword, a sword is drawn, Polished for slaughter, For consuming, for flashing—

I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, That the heart may melt and many may stumble. Ah! It is made bright; It is grasped for slaughter:

If I whet My glittering sword, And My hand takes hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to My enemies, And repay those who hate Me.I will make My arrows drunk with blood, And My sword shall devour flesh, With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the heads of the leaders of the enemy.”’

“ For My sword shall be bathed in heaven; Indeed it shall come down on Edom, And on the people of My curse, for judgment.The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, It is made overflowing with fatness, With the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

The plunderers have come On all the desolate heights in the wilderness, For the sword of the Lord shall devour From one end of the land to the other end of the land; No flesh shall have peace.

Though they go into captivity before their enemies, From there I will command the sword, And it shall slay them. I will set My eyes on them for harm and not for good.”

And it shall be, if they say to you,‘ Where should we go?’ then you shall tell them,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ Such as are for death, to death; And such as are for the sword, to the sword; And such as are for the famine, to the famine; And such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.”’

In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.

God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.If he does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready.He also prepares for Himself instruments of death; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts.

For by fire and by His sword The Lord will judge all flesh; And the slain of the Lord shall be many.
