Despite false visions concerning you and lying divinations about you, it will be laid on the necks of the wicked who are to be slain, whose day has come, whose time of punishment has reached its climax.

The visions of your prophets are false. They use magic to try to find out what is going to happen to you. But their magic tricks are lies. The sword will strike the necks of you sinful people. You will be killed. The day for you to be punished has finally come. Your time is up.

你們呢、可不要聽你們的神言人、占卜者、和作夢者、算命者、和行邪術者：他們告訴你們說：「你們必不至於服事巴比倫王。」

因為他們真地領導我人民走錯了路，說：「平安」，其實沒有平安。就像人、築了薄弱的牆，假神言人倒用灰水去塗抹。

你因你許多計謀而勞累；如今只管讓那些劃分天象、觀看星辰、在月初播知將來之事的、都站起來，救你脫離所要臨到於你的事呀！

後代的人必因他在世的日子而驚訝；前代的人早已大為震驚。

這些人所說的是虛謊的異象、是謊詐的占卜；他們說：「這是永恆主發神諭說的」，其實永恆主並沒有差遣他們，他們倒指望那話能應驗呢！

從此在以色列家中必不再有虛謊的異象和奉承的占卜了。

是那使信口胡謅者的兆頭無效的，使占卜者變成了狂妄人，使智慧人退後，使他們的智識變為愚拙的，

因為你永懷着仇恨，當以色列人遭遇災難的時候、罪罰到了盡頭的日子、你將他們交付於刀劍之勢力下，

主必笑他，因為見他受罰的日子就要來到。

你的神言人為你見的神託是虛謊、是粉飾；他們不暴露你的罪孽，以恢復你的故業；他們為你見的異象卻是虛謊、令人走錯的神託。

故此你們就不得以見虛謊的異象，也不得以再行占卜；我乃是要援救我人民脫離你們的手；你們就知道我乃是永恆主。』
