人子、爾當遙望耶路撒冷、指以色列地之聖所、而言未來事、

人子、爾當面向耶路撒冷、向諸聖所發言、對以色列地傳述預言、

“ Son of man, set your face against Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuary. Prophesy against the land of Israel

“ Son of man, turn your attention to Jerusalem. Preach against the temple. Prophesy against the land of Israel.

“ Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel

“ Son of man, turn and face Jerusalem and prophesy against Israel and her sanctuaries.

“ Son of man, set your face against Jerusalem, and speak prophetically against the sanctuaries and prophesy against the land of Israel;

“ Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, preach against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel;

Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel;

“ Son of man, turn your face toward Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel,

“ Son of man, turn toward Jerusalem and speak out against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel

“ Son of man, face the south and preach against it. Prophesy against the forest land in the Negev,

Face the siege of Jerusalem with your arm bared, and prophesy against it.

“ Son of man, face Sidon and prophesy against it.

“ Son of man, face the Ammonites and prophesy against them.

Take an iron plate and set it up as an iron wall between yourself and the city. Face it so that it is under siege, and besiege it. This will be a sign for the house of Israel.

Pray also for me, that the message may be given to me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel.

“ Son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say,‘ Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.

Now hear the word of the LORD. You say: Do not prophesy against Israel; do not preach against the house of Isaac.

Then the priests and prophets said to the officials and all the people,“ This man deserves the death sentence because he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your own ears.”Then Jeremiah said to all the officials and all the people,“ The LORD sent me to prophesy all the words that you have heard against this temple and city.

They also presented false witnesses who said,“ This man never stops speaking against this holy place and the law.For we heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us.”

“ Son of man, face Pharaoh king of Egypt and prophesy against him and against all of Egypt.

“ Quit your preaching,” they preach.“ They should not preach these things; shame will not overtake us.”

“ Son of man, face the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.

“ Son of man, face Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Prophesy against him

If a man comes and utters empty lies—“ I will preach to you about wine and beer”— he would be just the preacher for this people!

Let my teaching fall like rain and my word settle like dew, like gentle rain on new grass and showers on tender plants.
