我諭之曰、各棄爾目所慕可惡之物、勿以埃及之偶像、自染污衊、我乃耶和華、爾之上帝也、

斯時我諭之曰、我乃耶和華、爾之上帝、爾當棄可惡之物、勿因埃及之偶像、自染污衊、

我諭之曰、爾曹各當棄爾目所羨慕可憎之物、勿因伊及之偶像、自染污穢、我乃主爾之天主、

And I said to them,“ Each of you, get rid of the vile images you have set your eyes on, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.”

I said to them,‘ Each of you must get rid of the statues of the evil gods you worship. Do not make yourselves“ unclean” by worshiping the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’

And I said to them,‘ Cast away the detestable things your eyes feast on, every one of you, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.’

Then I said to them,‘ Each of you, get rid of the vile images you are so obsessed with. Do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt, for I am the Lord your God.’

I also said to them,“ Throw away, each of you, the abhorrent things that you prize, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.”

And I said to them,‘ Throw away, each of you, the detestable things of his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.’

Then I said to them,‘ Each of you, throw away the abominations which are before his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’

And I said unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am Jehovah your God.

I also said to them: Each of you must throw away the detestable things that are before your eyes and not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.

Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I[ am] the LORD your God.

I said to them,“ Each of you must get rid of the detestable idols you keep before you, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am the LORD your God.”

I said to them,‘ Each of you throw away the abominations of his eyes. Don’t defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’

You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices. (niv)

You yourselves know how we lived in Egypt and how we passed through the countries on the way here.You saw among them their detestable images and idols of wood and stone, of silver and gold.Make sure there is no man or woman, clan or tribe among you today whose heart turns away from the Lord our God to go and worship the gods of those nations; make sure there is no root among you that produces such bitter poison. (niv)

Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, people of Israel? (niv)

“ I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. (niv)

I am the Lord your God; follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. (niv)

“‘ But they rebelled against me and would not listen to me; they did not get rid of the vile images they had set their eyes on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and spend my anger against them in Egypt. (niv)

“‘ Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God. (niv)

They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.’ (niv)

When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage. He removed the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the towns he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He repaired the altar of the Lord that was in front of the portico of the Lord’s temple. (niv)

She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt, when during her youth men slept with her, caressed her virgin bosom and poured out their lust on her. (niv)

“ Therefore say to the people of Israel,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices! (niv)

They became prostitutes in Egypt, engaging in prostitution from their youth. In that land their breasts were fondled and their virgin bosoms caressed. (niv)

Then in the nations where they have been carried captive, those who escape will remember me— how I have been grieved by their adulterous hearts, which have turned away from me, and by their eyes, which have lusted after their idols. They will loathe themselves for the evil they have done and for all their detestable practices. (niv)

In that day people will throw away to the moles and bats their idols of silver and idols of gold, which they made to worship.They will flee to caverns in the rocks and to the overhanging crags from the fearful presence of the Lord and the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to shake the earth. (niv)

“ I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them,‘ At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.’” (niv)
