On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands.

當那日子我向他們舉手起誓要領他們出埃及地，到我為他們探覓的、那流奶與蜜之地，就是在列邦中最華美的。

當日我與之誓、必導之出埃及、入我所選流乳與蜜之地、即諸地之美者、

既立盟誓、導爾祖出埃及、至產乳與蜜之地、其地為列國所羨美、我素所選者、

當日我為之發誓、必導之出伊及地、至我為彼所選之地、即流乳與蜜之地、其地在列國中最佳美、

On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands.

On that day I promised I would bring them out of Egypt. I told them I would take them to a land I had found for them. It had plenty of milk and honey. It was the most beautiful land of all.

rising splendidly, is the joy of the whole earth. Mount Zion— the summit of Zaphon— is the city of the great King.

You gave them this land you swore to give to their ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go up with you because you are a stiff-necked people; otherwise, I might destroy you on the way.”

I scattered them with a windstorm over all the nations that had not known them, and the land was left desolate behind them, with no one coming or going. They turned a pleasant land into a desolation.”

From one of them a little horn emerged and grew extensively toward the south and the east and toward the beautiful land.

The king of the North who comes against him will do whatever he wants, and no one can oppose him. He will establish himself in the beautiful land with total destruction in his hand.

He will also invade the beautiful land, and many will fall. But these will escape from his power: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of the Ammonites.

When I bring them into the land I swore to give their ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey, they will eat their fill and prosper. They will turn to other gods and worship them, despising me and breaking my covenant.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses:“ Tell the Israelites to turn back and camp in front of Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea; you must camp in front of Baal-zephon, facing it by the sea.Pharaoh will say of the Israelites: They are wandering around the land in confusion; the wilderness has boxed them in.I will harden Pharaoh’s heart so that he will pursue them. Then I will receive glory by means of Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD.” So the Israelites did this.When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about the people and said,“ What have we done? We have released Israel from serving us.”So he got his chariot ready and took his troops with him;he took six hundred of the best chariots and all the rest of the chariots of Egypt, with officers in each one.The LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the Israelites, who were going out defiantly.The Egyptians— all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots, his horsemen, and his army— chased after them and caught up with them as they camped by the sea beside Pi-hahiroth, in front of Baal-zephon.As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up and there were the Egyptians coming after them! The Israelites were terrified and cried out to the LORD for help.They said to Moses,“ Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?Isn’t this what we told you in Egypt: Leave us alone so that we may serve the Egyptians? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”But Moses said to the people,“ Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and see the LORD’s salvation that he will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians you see today, you will never see again.The LORD will fight for you, and you must be quiet.”The LORD said to Moses,“ Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to break camp.

But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.It is a land the LORD your God cares for. He is always watching over it from the beginning to the end of the year.

Listen, Israel, and be careful to follow them, so that you may prosper and multiply greatly, because the LORD, the God of your ancestors, has promised you a land flowing with milk and honey.

He led us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Then the LORD said to Abram,“ Know this for certain: Your offspring will be resident aliens for four hundred years in a land that does not belong to them and will be enslaved and oppressed.However, I will judge the nation they serve, and afterward they will go out with many possessions.

He made him ride on the heights of the land and eat the produce of the field. He nourished him with honey from the rock and oil from flinty rock,curds from the herd and milk from the flock, with the fat of lambs, rams from Bashan, and goats, with the choicest grains of wheat; you drank wine from the finest grapes.

And I have promised you that I will bring you up from the misery of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites— a land flowing with milk and honey.

For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land with streams, springs, and deep water sources, flowing in both valleys and hills;a land of wheat, barley, vines, figs, and pomegranates; a land of olive oil and honey;a land where you will eat food without shortage, where you will lack nothing; a land whose rocks are iron and from whose hills you will mine copper.

When the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which he swore to your ancestors that he would give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you must carry out this ceremony in this month.

Say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: On the day I chose Israel, I swore an oath to the descendants of Jacob’s house and made myself known to them in the land of Egypt. I swore to them, saying,“ I am the LORD your God.”

They reported to Moses,“ We went into the land where you sent us. Indeed it is flowing with milk and honey, and here is some of its fruit.

If the LORD is pleased with us, he will bring us into this land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and give it to us.

When I lead you into the land of Israel, the land I swore to give your ancestors, you will know that I am the LORD.

And I promised you: You will inherit their land, since I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am the LORD your God who set you apart from the peoples.

Look down from your holy dwelling, from heaven, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you swore to our ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey.

For the Israelites wandered in the wilderness forty years until all the nation’s men of war who came out of Egypt had died off because they did not obey the LORD. So the LORD vowed never to let them see the land he had sworn to their ancestors to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.

However, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would disperse them among the nations and scatter them among the countries.

Write all the words of this law on the stones after you cross to enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as the LORD, the God of your ancestors, has promised you.

When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance and divided the human race, he set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the people of Israel.

in order to establish the oath I swore to your ancestors, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is today.’” I answered,“ Amen, LORD.”

and so that you may live long in the land the LORD swore to your ancestors to give them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
