我並且在曠野也曾向他們舉手起誓過要使他們分散在列國，使他們四散在列邦；

并且我在旷野向他们起誓，必将他们分散在列国，四散在列邦；

并且我在旷野向他们起誓，要把他们驱散到列国，分散在列邦；

並且我在曠野向他們起誓，必將他們分散在列國，四散在列邦；

彼尚在曠野、不守我法度、藐視我禮儀、犯我安息日、崇敬列祖所拜之偶像、我誓必散之於異邦族類中、

我亦在曠野為之發誓、必散之於異邦、播之於列國、

Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the wilderness that I would disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries,

我必使你們四散於外國中，我必拔刀來追趕你們，你們的地就荒涼，你們的城市就荒廢。

我並且我在曠野也曾向他們舉手起了誓、必不領他們進我所賜給他們、流奶與蜜之地，就是在列邦中最華美的；

永恆主必使你分散於萬族之民中，從地這邊到地那邊；在那裏你必事奉別的神、是你和你列祖素來不認識的、木頭石頭的神。在這些國中、你不能得安然，也沒有給你腳掌停息的地方；永恆主卻要使你在那裏心中發顫，眼目失明，精神消損。你的性命在你面前懸而無定；你晝夜恐懼，對自己的性命、都不敢自信。因你心裏所恐懼的事、和你眼中所看見的景況，早晨你必說：「巴不得到晚上才好呢！」晚上你必說：「巴不得到早晨才好呢！」永恆主必用船將你送回埃及去，所走的路、是我曾對你說過你永不會再見的；在那裏你必賣身給你的仇敵做奴隸做婢女，卻沒有人買。』

我所看見那站在海上地上的天使向天舉起右手來，指着那永遠活着世世無窮的、那創造天和天上之物、地和地上之物、海和海中之物的，來起誓說：『必不再有躭延的時間了！

使他們的後裔分散在列國，四散在列邦。

『我向天舉手：我，我指着永活的我來起誓：

『若不是我怕仇敵惹我發怒，我原想着說：「我必將他們割裂成塊，使他們的名號都滅絕於人間」；恐怕敵人判斷錯了，恐怕他們說：「是我們的手高舉起來作的，並不是永恆主行了這一切事啊。」

我必使他們成了地上萬國所不寒而慄的對象，都因猶大王希西家的兒子瑪拿西的緣故，因為他在耶路撒冷行了惡事。
