And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.

“ But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them and do not be afraid of their words, even though briers and thorns are beside you and you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or discouraged by the look on their faces, for they are a rebellious house.

And as for you, son of man, you are not to fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house.

“ And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

我左右爾、拯救爾、可勿畏人。

緣義受害、必蒙綏祉、人有危言、勿憂勿懼、

蓋上帝賜我儕、非畏難之心、乃勇行、仁愛、順理、

有人昂首高視、有人齒如刀鋸、吞噬貧人。

吾友乎、吾語汝、殺爾身、後別無所為者、勿懼、

亦為我求、得啟口侃侃傳道、闡福音之奧、

我使爾容甚剛、顙甚堅、與彼無異、我使爾額堅剛、過於鐵石、彼悖逆之流、毋庸懼之、勿畏其威。

耶和華之使告以利亞云、汝下毋畏。遂下覲王、

彼作惡事、災及其身、如荊棘之遭焚、如叢林之被爇、烟燄上騰。

殺身而不能殺魂者、勿懼、惟能殺身及魂於地獄者、甚可懼也、

我使爾舌卷、瘖不能言、維彼悖逆之流、毋庸督責、後余啟示爾、爾口能言、播傳我命、告彼悖逆之家、聽者任之、不聽者亦任之。

不為敵動心、如是、則敵自知必亡、而爾知賴上帝得救、

伯特利之祭司亞馬謝、遣人至以色列王耶羅破暗曰、亞麼士在以色列族中謀叛、播散流言、國將不堪、蓋亞麼士常言耶羅破暗必死於刃、以色列族必遷於他方、亞馬謝告亞麼士曰、先見者與、宜循於猶大、在彼可得餬口、宣播言詞、毋在伯特利播言、此處王之聖所、宮闕在焉。亞麼士曰、我非先知、亦非先知之子、我乃牧牛羊、摘桑葚者、我守群畜、耶和華選我、告我曰、當播言於我民、以色列族中、今耶和華有言、爾其聽哉、我宣訓言、告誡以色列族、以撒家、而爾禁止、故耶和華曰、爾妻將為妓於城中、爾之子女、蹈刃而亡、爾之田畝、以繩量度、分於眾人、爾身必死於污俗、以色列族亦被遷於遠方。

眾見彼得約翰、侃侃如也、識其未學蚩氓、異之、又知其從耶穌、

今祭司諸長恐喝我、求主鑒之、俾僕侃侃傳道、

惟我感耶和華之神、得能力言公義、告誡雅各家、以色列族、俾自知其罪戾、

昔以色列族為四方之民所辱、若刺荊觸棘、今則無有、俾知我乃耶和華。

人曰、祭司有律例、智士有箴規、先知有預言、如耶利米其言不可信、予當批其頰、而謀害之。

匪類如荊棘、人不得執、故必推而去之、人欲斬刈、必用鐵戈與柯、而後立焚以火。○

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、而過於聽上帝、在上帝前、義乎、爾自審焉、

烟中有蝗徧地、上帝賜權、傷人如蠍、蝗既奉命、不毀傷草木、惟顙不受上帝印誌者、必傷之、蝗不殺人、第能困人五月、如被蠍螫、此時、人將求死不得、蓋欲死而不能也、

諳悉仁義、服膺我法者、宜聽我言、人侮慢爾、爾勿畏葸。

彼悉違予、評人長短、若金與銅鐵交融、
