But the people did not listen. Manasseh led them astray, so that they did more evil than the nations the Lord had destroyed before the Israelites. (niv)

but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods.They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood. “ Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel:‘ The days go by and every vision comes to nothing’? (niv)

When Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, he got up and went down to take possession of Naboth’s vineyard. (niv)
