“因此，你要告诉以色列人，主耶和华这样说，‘你们要悔改，离弃你们的偶像，离弃那些可憎之事。

「所以你要告訴以色列家說：『主耶和華如此說：回頭吧！離開你們的偶像，轉臉莫從你們一切可憎的事。』

「所以你要對以色列家說：『主耶和華如此說：回轉吧！回轉離開你們的偶像，轉臉離開一切可憎的事。』

「所以你要對以色列家說：『主耶和華如此說：回轉吧！回轉離開你們的偶像，轉臉離開一切可憎的事。』

「因此，你要告訴以色列人，主耶和華這樣說，『你們要悔改，離棄你們的偶像，離棄那些可憎之事。

“因此，你要對以色列家說：‘主耶和華這樣說：回轉吧！轉離你們的偶像！轉臉離棄你們一切可憎之物吧！

『故此你要對以色列家說：主永恆主這麼說：回轉吧！轉離你們的偶像哦！轉臉離開你們一切可厭惡之像吧！

當告以色列家曰、主耶和華云、爾宜轉離爾之偶像、反背可惡之事、

當告以色列族曰、主耶和華命爾棄偶像、勿崇可惡之物、

故爾當告以色列族曰、主天主如是云、爾曹當悔改、轉離偶像、勿崇事勿崇事原文作面不向、可憎之物、轉離偶像勿崇事可憎之物或作棄偶像而歸誠轉離可憎之物

“ Therefore say to the people of Israel,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices!

“ So speak to the people of Israel. Tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ Turn away from your sins! Also turn away from your gods. Give up all the evil things you have done. I hate them.

“ Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: Repent and turn away from your idols, and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

“ Therefore, tell the people of Israel,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Repent and turn away from your idols, and stop all your detestable sins.

“ Therefore, say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Repent and turn away from your idols; turn your faces away from all your detestable things.

“ Therefore say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Repent and turn away from your idols, and turn your faces away from all your abominations.

“ Therefore say to the house of Israel,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ Repent, turn away from your idols, and turn your faces away from all your abominations.

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Return ye, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

“ Therefore, say to the house of Israel: This is what the Lord God says: Repent and turn away from your idols; turn your faces away from all your detestable things.

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn[ yourselves] from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

“ Therefore say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: Return! Turn from your idols, and turn your faces away from your abominations.

“ Therefore tell the house of Israel,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Return, and turn yourselves from your idols! Turn away your faces from all your abominations.

“ Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. (niv)

In that day people will throw away to the moles and bats their idols of silver and idols of gold, which they made to worship. (niv)

Then you will desecrate your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them,“ Away with you!” (niv)

So Samuel said to all the Israelites,“ If you are returning to the Lord with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the Lord and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.” (niv)

What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! (niv)

Why then have these people turned away? Why does Jerusalem always turn away? They cling to deceit; they refuse to return.I have listened attentively, but they do not say what is right. None of them repent of their wickedness, saying,“ What have I done?” Each pursues their own course like a horse charging into battle. (niv)

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (niv)

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom.Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. (niv)

Therefore speak to them and tell them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When any of the Israelites set up idols in their hearts and put a wicked stumbling block before their faces and then go to a prophet, I the Lord will answer them myself in keeping with their great idolatry. (niv)

“ I have surely heard Ephraim’s moaning:‘ You disciplined me like an unruly calf, and I have been disciplined. Restore me, and I will return, because you are the Lord my God.After I strayed, I repented; after I came to understand, I beat my breast. I was ashamed and humiliated because I bore the disgrace of my youth.’Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I have great compassion for him,” declares the Lord. (niv)

Return, Israel, to the Lord your God. Your sins have been your downfall!Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to him:“ Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.Assyria cannot save us; we will not mount warhorses. We will never again say‘ Our gods’ to what our own hands have made, for in you the fatherless find compassion.” (niv)

Then, when I make atonement for you for all you have done, you will remember and be ashamed and never again open your mouth because of your humiliation, declares the Sovereign Lord.’” (niv)

“ In those days, at that time,” declares the Lord,“ the people of Israel and the people of Judah together will go in tears to seek the Lord their God.They will ask the way to Zion and turn their faces toward it. They will come and bind themselves to the Lord in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten. (niv)

First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds. (niv)

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, (niv)

He then brought me into the inner court of the house of the Lord, and there at the entrance to the temple, between the portico and the altar, were about twenty-five men. With their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east. (niv)

On that day you, Jerusalem, will not be put to shame for all the wrongs you have done to me, because I will remove from you your arrogant boasters. Never again will you be haughty on my holy hill. (niv)

“ Remember the instruction you gave your servant Moses, saying,‘ If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations,but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.’ (niv)

Our parents were unfaithful; they did evil in the eyes of the Lord our God and forsook him. They turned their faces away from the Lord’s dwelling place and turned their backs on him. (niv)

This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh:“ By the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink.But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence.Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.” (niv)

In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. (niv)

your adulteries and lustful neighings, your shameless prostitution! I have seen your detestable acts on the hills and in the fields. Woe to you, Jerusalem! How long will you be unclean?” (niv)

and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captors and say,‘ We have sinned, we have done wrong, we have acted wickedly’;and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to you toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and the temple I have built for your Name;then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause. (niv)

Why should the living complain when punished for their sins?Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven, and say: (niv)

Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices.I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the Sovereign Lord. Be ashamed and disgraced for your conduct, people of Israel! (niv)
