爾曹見其所行所為、必得慰藉、亦知我所行於耶路撒冷者、非出無因、主耶和華言之矣、

爾見其所為、知我降災、非出無因、則爾怨悉平、我耶和華已言之矣。

爾見其舉止行為、則使爾覺安慰、爾曹則知我凡所行於耶路撒冷者、並非無故、此乃主天主所言、

You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

You will be comforted when you see how they act and the way they live. Then you will know that I did not do anything there without a reason,” announces the Lord and King.

They will console you, when you see their ways and their deeds, and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, declares the Lord God.”

When you meet them and see their behavior, you will understand that these things are not being done to Israel without cause. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”

于是耶和华有意使这祸患临到我们身上，因为耶和华我们的神所做的一切都是公义的，但我们却没有听从他的话。

又因为他们曾流了圣徒们和先知们的血，现在你给了他们血喝，这是他们该受的。”

“主啊，公义在于你；至于我们犹大人、耶路撒冷的居民，以及你驱赶到远近各地的全体以色列人，因为对你行事不忠，都满面羞耻，就像今天这样！

就像麻雀在翻飞，燕子在飞翔，无故的诅咒也不会降下。

其中两人转身离开那里往所多玛去，而亚伯拉罕仍然站在耶和华的面前。亚伯拉罕近前来说：“你真要把义人与恶人一同除灭吗？假如那城中有五十个义人，你真的还会除灭它，而不因城中这五十个义人饶恕那地方吗？你绝不会做这样的事：把义人与恶人一同处死，让义人像恶人一样！你绝不会！难道全地的审判者不施行公正吗？”耶和华说：“如果我在所多玛城中找到五十个义人，我就会因他们的缘故饶恕那整个地方。”亚伯拉罕回应说：“看哪，尽管我是尘土和灰烬，也容我斗胆向我主说，假如这五十个义人中缺少五个，难道你会因缺少五个而毁灭全城吗？”耶和华说：“如果我在那里找到四十五个，我也不会毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕又继续问他说：“假如在那里找到四十个呢？”耶和华就说：“因这四十个的缘故，我也不会这样做。”亚伯拉罕接着说：“请我主不要恼火，容我说，假如在那里找到三十个呢？”耶和华说：“如果我在那里找到三十个，我也不会这样做。”亚伯拉罕又说：“看哪，我再次斗胆向我主说，假如在那里找到二十个呢？”耶和华说：“因这二十个的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕再次说：“请我主不要恼火，容我说最后一次，假如在那里找到十个呢？”耶和华说：“因这十个的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”耶和华与亚伯拉罕说完话就走了，亚伯拉罕也回自己的地方去了。

主啊！谁能不敬畏、不荣耀你的名呢？因为只有你是圣洁的，因为万民都要来，在你面前敬拜，因为你公义的规定已经显明了。”

可是你照着顽固和不悔改的心，为那震怒的日子，就是神公义审判显现的日子，给自己积蓄了震怒。
