For the Lord Yahweh says:“ How much more when I send my four severe judgments on Jerusalem, the sword, the famine, the evil animals, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and animal!

主耶和华如此说：“我将这四样大灾，就是刀剑、饥荒、恶兽、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，将人与牲畜从其中剪除，岂不更重吗？

“主耶和华如此说：我若将这四样大灾，就是刀剑、饥荒、恶兽、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，将人与牲畜从其中剪除，岂不是更严重吗？

“主耶和华如此说：我若将这四样大灾，就是刀剑、饥荒、恶兽、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，将人与牲畜从其中剪除，岂不是更严重吗？

“主耶和华说，‘我要把战祸、饥荒、猛兽和瘟疫这四大刑罚降在耶路撒冷，毁灭人和牲畜。

主耶和华这样说：“我打发刀剑、饥荒、猛兽和瘟疫这四样可怕的刑罚临到耶路撒冷，要把人和牲畜从那里剪除的时候，那情况岂不更严重吗？

主耶和華如此說：「我將這四樣大災－就是刀劍、饑荒、惡獸、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，將人與牲畜從其中剪除，豈不更重嗎？

「主耶和華如此說：我若將這四樣大災，就是刀劍、饑荒、惡獸、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，將人與牲畜從其中剪除，豈不是更嚴重嗎？

「主耶和華如此說：我若將這四樣大災，就是刀劍、饑荒、惡獸、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，將人與牲畜從其中剪除，豈不是更嚴重嗎？

「主耶和華說，『我要把戰禍、饑荒、猛獸和瘟疫這四大刑罰降在耶路撒冷，毀滅人和牲畜。

主耶和華這樣說：“我打發刀劍、饑荒、猛獸和瘟疫這四樣可怕的刑罰臨到耶路撒冷，要把人和牲畜從那裡剪除的時候，那情況豈不更嚴重嗎？

『何況我打發刀劍、饑荒、惡獸、瘟疫這四樣嚴厲的判罰，去降給耶路撒冷，將人和牲口都從那裏剪除掉，豈不更加各自為救麼？主永恆主這麼說。

主耶和華曰、我以我之四重災、即鋒刃、饑饉、暴獸、疫癘、降於耶路撒冷、絕其人畜、其害豈非尤甚乎、

主耶和華又曰、我使四災降於耶路撒冷、鋒刃、饑饉、暴獸、瘟疫、使人畜靡有孑遺、其害豈非尤重乎。

主天主如是云、我使四暴災降於耶路撒冷、即鋒刃、饑饉、猛獸、疫癘、於其中絕人與畜、其害豈非尤重乎、

“ For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments— sword and famine and wild beasts and plague— to kill its men and their animals!

The Lord and King says,“ It will get much worse. I will punish Jerusalem in four horrible ways. There will be war, hunger, wild animals and plague. They will destroy the people and their animals.

“ For thus says the Lord God: How much more when I send upon Jerusalem my four disastrous acts of judgment, sword, famine, wild beasts, and pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast!

“ Now this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How terrible it will be when all four of these dreadful punishments fall upon Jerusalem— war, famine, wild animals, and disease— destroying all her people and animals.

“ For this is what the Lord GOD says: How much worse will it be when I send my four devastating judgments against Jerusalem— sword, famine, dangerous animals, and plague— in order to wipe out both people and animals from it!

For this is what the Lord God says:“ How much more when I send My four severe judgments against Jerusalem: sword, famine, vicious animals, and plague to eliminate human and animal life from it!

For thus says the Lord GOD:“ How much more it shall be when I send My four severe judgments on Jerusalem— the sword and famine and wild beasts and pestilence— to cut off man and beast from it?

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the evil beasts, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast!

“ For this is what the Lord God says: How much worse will it be when I send My four devastating judgments against Jerusalem— sword, famine, dangerous animals, and plague— in order to wipe out both man and animal from it!

For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

“ For this is what the sovereign LORD says: How much worse will it be when I send my four terrible judgments– sword, famine, wild animals, and plague– to Jerusalem to kill both people and animals!

I will send on you famine and evil animals, and they will bereave you. Pestilence and blood will pass through you. I will bring the sword on you. I, Yahweh, have spoken it.’”

“ You shall tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ As I live, surely those who are in the waste places will fall by the sword. I will give he who is in the open field to the animals to be devoured; and those who are in the strongholds and in the caves will die of the pestilence.

“ Son of man, when a land sins against me by committing a trespass, and I stretch out my hand on it, and break the staff of its bread, and send famine on it, and cut off from it man and animal;

“ Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and animal;

“ Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say,‘ Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off from it man and animal;’

“ If I cause evil animals to pass through the land, and they ravage it, and it is made desolate, so that no man may pass through because of the animals;

It will happen, when they ask you,‘ Where shall we go out?’ then you shall tell them,‘ Yahweh says:“ Such as are for death, to death; such as are for the sword, to the sword; such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for captivity, to captivity.”’“ I will appoint over them four kinds,” says Yahweh:“ the sword to kill, the dogs to tear, the birds of the sky, and the animals of the earth, to devour and to destroy.

“ The Lord Yahweh says:‘ Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say,“ Alas!” Because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel; for they will fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.He who is far off will die of the pestilence. He who is near will fall by the sword. He who remains and is besieged will die by the famine. Thus I will accomplish my wrath on them.

“ I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread in every town; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.“ I also have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city. One place was rained on, and the piece where it didn’t rain withered.So two or three cities staggered to one city to drink water, and were not satisfied: yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.“ I struck you with blight and mildew many times in your gardens and your vineyards; and the swarming locusts have devoured your fig trees and your olive trees; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.“ I sent plagues among you like I did Egypt. I have slain your young men with the sword, and have carried away your horses; and I filled your nostrils with the stench of your camp, yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.“ I have overthrown some of you, as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a burning stick plucked out of the fire; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.“ Therefore thus I will do to you, Israel; because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, Israel.

Another came out: a red horse. To him who sat on it was given power to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. There was given to him a great sword.When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying,“ Come and see!” And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a balance in his hand.I heard a voice in the middle of the four living creatures saying,“ A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenix of barley for a denarius! Don’t damage the oil and the wine!”When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature saying,“ Come and see!”And behold, a pale horse, and the name of he who sat on it was Death. Hades followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him.

A third part of you will die with the pestilence, and they will be consumed with famine within you. A third part will fall by the sword around you. A third part I will scatter to all the winds, and will draw out a sword after them.
