“人子啊！如果一國行了不忠的事得罪我，我就必伸手攻擊那國，斷絕那地的糧食，使饑荒臨到那地，使人和牲畜都從那地剪除，

“人子啊，若有一国犯罪干犯我，我也向他伸手折断他们的杖，就是断绝他们的粮，使饥荒临到那地，将人与牲畜从其中剪除；

“人子啊，若有一国犯罪干犯我，我也伸手攻击它，断绝他们粮食的供应，使饥荒临到那地，将人与牲畜从其中剪除；

“人子啊，若有一国犯罪干犯我，我也伸手攻击它，断绝他们粮食的供应，使饥荒临到那地，将人与牲畜从其中剪除；

“人子啊，若有国家犯罪背叛我，我必伸手断绝他们的粮源，使饥荒遍地，毁灭人和牲畜。

「人子啊，若有國家犯罪背叛我，我必伸手斷絕他們的糧源，使饑荒遍地，毀滅人和牲畜。

『人子啊，若有一國行為不忠實，犯罪得罪了我，而我伸手攻擊它，折斷它糧食的支杖，使饑荒臨到那地，將人和牲口都從那裏剪除掉，

人子歟、如國干咎、獲罪於我、我則伸手其上、絕其所恃之糧、降以饑饉、絕其人畜、

人子、凡有民人、輒蹈愆尤、犯罪於我、我必罰之、使其餅餌匱乏、人畜饑餓、致於死亡、

人子、若有國行不法、獲罪於我、我必舉手以罰之、絕人所賴之糧、降饑饉、於其中絕人與畜、

“ Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its people and their animals,

“ Son of man, suppose the people in a certain country sin against me. And they are not faithful to me. So I reach out my powerful hand against them. I cut off their food supply. I make them very hungry. I kill them and their animals.

“ Son of man, when a land sins against me by acting faithlessly, and I stretch out my hand against it and break its supply of bread and send famine upon it, and cut off from it man and beast,

“ Son of man, suppose the people of a country were to sin against me, and I lifted my fist to crush them, cutting off their food supply and sending a famine to destroy both people and animals.

“ Son of man, suppose a land sins against me by acting faithlessly, and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its supply of bread, to send famine through it, and to wipe out both people and animals from it.

“ Son of man, if a country sins against Me by being unfaithful, and I stretch out My hand against it, destroy its supply of bread, send famine against it, and eliminate from it both human and animal life,

“ Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it.

Son of man, when a land sinneth against me by committing a trespass, and I stretch out my hand upon it, and break the staff of the bread thereof, and send famine upon it, and cut off from it man and beast;

“ Son of man, if a land sins against Me by acting faithlessly, and I stretch out My hand against it to cut off its supply of bread, to send famine through it, and to wipe out both man and animal from it,

Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

“ Son of man, suppose a country sins against me by being unfaithful, and I stretch out my hand against it, cut off its bread supply, cause famine to come on it, and kill both people and animals.

“ Son of man, when a land sins against me by committing a trespass, and I stretch out my hand on it, and break the staff of its bread, and send famine on it, and cut off from it man and animal;

他又對我說：“人子啊，我要斷絕耶路撒冷的糧食。他們要滿心憂慮，吃配給的口糧；十分驚惶，喝配給的水。

我斷絕你們的糧食來源（“我斷絕你們的糧食來源”直譯是“我要折斷你們糧食的杖”）以後，十個女人要共用一個爐子給你們烤餅，她們配給定量的餅給你們；你們要吃，卻吃不飽。

主耶和華這樣說：“我打發刀劍、饑荒、猛獸和瘟疫這四樣可怕的刑罰臨到耶路撒冷，要把人和牲畜從那裡剪除的時候，那情況豈不更嚴重嗎？

如果我使刀劍臨到那地，說：‘願刀劍經過那地，好讓我把人和牲畜從那地剪除。’

看哪！主萬軍之耶和華，快要從耶路撒冷和猶大，除掉人所倚靠的和所倚賴的，就是眾人所倚靠的糧，眾人所倚賴的水；

我射出饑荒和毀滅的毒箭的時候，是為了毀滅你們。我要使你們的饑荒加劇，斷絕你們糧食的供應。

如果我使瘟疫流行那地，藉著流血的事把我的烈怒傾倒在那地上，使人和牲畜都從那地剪除；

我必使這地荒涼，因為他們行了不忠的事。這是主耶和華的宣告。”

我們沒有聽從耶和華我們神的話，沒有遵行他藉著他的僕人眾先知向我們頒布的律法。以色列眾人都違背了你的律法，偏離了你，不聽從你的話，因此，神的僕人摩西的律法書上所記載的咒詛和誓言，都傾倒在我們身上；我們實在得罪了神。他實現了他的預言，按著他向我們和那些治理我們的官長所說過的話，使大災禍臨到我們身上；耶路撒冷所遇的災禍是在普天之下從未發生過的。

“因此，人子啊！你要告訴以色列家，對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：你們的列祖在對我不忠的這事上褻瀆了我。

耶和華啊！你看，患難臨到我！我的心腸激動，我的心在我裡面翻轉，因為我曾經非常悖逆。街上有刀劍使人喪子，屋裡也有死亡。

禱告說：‘我的神啊，我感覺羞恥慚愧，不敢向我的神你仰面；因為我們的罪孽多至滅頂，我們的罪過滔天。

耶路撒冷犯了大罪，因此成了不潔之物。素來尊敬她的現在都藐視她，因為看見她赤身露體；她自己也唉哼，轉身退避。

我們犯了罪，行了不義，作了惡，背叛了你，偏離了你的誡命典章；

你們說：“這地荒涼，沒有人煙，也沒有牲畜，是交在迦勒底人手中的。”但將來在這地上，必有人買賣田地。

因此，主耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我的怒氣和忿怒，必倒在這地方，也必倒在人口、牲畜、田野的樹木和地的出產上；怒火燒起，不能熄滅。”

所以主耶和華這樣說：我必伸手攻擊以東，把人和牲畜都從其中剪除；我必使以東荒涼；從提幔直到底但，他們都要倒斃在刀下。

論到猶大王約雅敬你要說：‘耶和華這樣說：你燒了那書卷，說：你為甚麼在上面寫著說：巴比倫王一定來，毀滅這地，使地上的人畜都滅絕呢？

他對我說：“以色列家和猶大家罪大惡極，地上充滿血腥，城內充滿不義，因為他們說：‘耶和華已經離開這地，他看不見我們了！’

那些死於刀下的比餓死的還好；餓死的因缺乏田間的出產，就日漸消瘦而死亡。慈心的婦人親手烹煮自己所生的孩子；在我眾民（“我眾民”原文作“我子民的女子”）遭毀滅的時候，孩子竟成了母親的食物。

如果他們問你：‘我們要去哪裡？’你就告訴他們：‘耶和華這樣說：該死亡的，就死亡；該被刀劍所殺的，就被刀劍所殺；該遭遇饑荒的，就遭遇饑荒；該被擄的，就被擄去！’我要命定四種刑罰對付他們，就是刀劍殺戮，屍體被野狗拖走，被空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸吞吃與毀滅。”這是耶和華的宣告。

大地東歪西倒，像個醉酒的人，又搖來搖去，像座草棚；大地被其上的罪孽重重壓著，以致塌陷，不能再起來。

耶和華說：“我要把我創造的人，從地上消滅；無論是人或牲畜，是爬行的動物或是天空的飛鳥，我都要消滅，因為我後悔造了他們。”
