For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, And on their heart also will I write them: And I will be to them a God, And they shall be to me a people:

For they that lead this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep mine ordinances, and do them.And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.And I will save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine upon you.

And I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people; and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray; they have turned them away on the mountains; they have gone from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting- place.

And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is in the midst of thee.

Before I was afflicted I went astray; But now I observe thy word.

My tabernacle also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is ungodliness gone forth into all the land.

And those that remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil in the midst of thee.
