彼見虛偽、及欺誑之卜筮、謂耶和華言之、然耶和華未嘗遣之、彼乃使人冀其言有驗、

彼所見者、虛偽之異象、所占者無憑之卜筮、自謂傳耶和華之命、然我未嘗示之、未嘗遣之、彼使人冀其言有應、是事豈不有之乎。

彼言得默示、悉屬妄誕、占卜皆屬虛偽、自謂傳主之言、主實未曾遣之、妄使人冀其言之應驗、

Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. Even though the Lord has not sent them, they say,“ The Lord declares,” and expect him to fulfill their words.

The visions of those prophets are false. They use magic to try to find out what is going to happen. But their magic tricks are lies. They say,‘ The Lord announces.’ But I have not sent them. In spite of that, they expect him to make their words come true.

They have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say,‘ Declares the Lord,’ when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word.

Instead, they have told lies and made false predictions. They say,‘ This message is from the Lord,’ even though the Lord never sent them. And yet they expect him to fulfill their prophecies!

They saw false visions and their divinations were a lie. They claimed,“ This is the LORD’s declaration,” when the LORD did not send them, yet they wait for the fulfillment of their message.

They see deceit and lying divination, those who are saying,‘ The Lord declares,’ when the Lord has not sent them; yet they wait for the fulfillment of their word!

They have envisioned futility and false divination, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord!’ But the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope that the word may be confirmed.

They have seen falsehood and lying divination, that say, Jehovah saith; but Jehovah hath not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.

They see false visions and speak lying divinations. They claim,‘ This is the Lord’s declaration,’ when the Lord did not send them, yet they wait for the fulfillment of their message.

They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made[ others] to hope that they would confirm the word.

They see delusion and their omens are a lie. They say,“ the LORD declares,” though the LORD has not sent them; yet they expect their word to be confirmed.

They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say,‘ Yahweh says;’ but Yahweh has not sent them. They have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.

耶利米先知就对哈拿尼雅先知说：“哈拿尼雅，听着！耶和华并没有派你来，你却诱使这些民众相信你的谎话。

你的先知对他们说虚假的异象和占卜，像用白灰刷墙一样掩盖他们的罪恶，说，耶和华这样说，其实耶和华没有说。

那些曾向你们预言‘巴比伦王绝不会来这里攻打你们’的先知如今在哪里呢？

以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说：“不要被你们中间的先知和占卜者欺骗，不要听信他们做的梦。

有关你们的异象和占卜是虚假的，你们将与其他恶人一同被杀，因为你们的结局到了，审判你们的日子来了。

耶和华对我说：“那些先知奉我的名说假预言，我并没有差派他们，没有委任他们，也没有对他们说话。他们对你们说的预言是假异象，是占卜，是凭空捏造。

因为神像说的是虚言，占卜者讲的是谎话，他们说的是假梦，他们的安慰是空的。所以人们如迷失的羊，因没有牧人而受苦。

将有很多人冒我的名来，说，‘我是基督’，欺骗许多人。

我没有使义人忧伤，你们却以谎言叫他们灰心。你们怂恿恶人不要改邪归正，以致他们丧命。因此，你们必不再见假异象，也不再占卜。我必从你们手中拯救我的子民。这样，你们就知道我是耶和华。’”

犹大人必认为这是虚假的征兆。他们曾向巴比伦王发誓效忠，但巴比伦王要使他们想起自己的罪，并掳走他们。

王死后，他们把王的尸体运回撒玛利亚安葬，

因为假基督和假先知将出现，行各种神迹奇事，如果可能，甚至会迷惑上帝拣选的子民。你们要小心，我已经把一切预先告诉你们了。

他们口出狂言，空话连篇，以肉体的邪情私欲为饵，诱惑那些刚刚摆脱了荒谬生活的人。

主耶和华这样宣告，我要废掉这句俗语，使它从以色列人的口中消失。你要对他们说，‘日子已近，异象都要应验。’在以色列人中必不再有虚假的异象和谄媚的预言。

愚昧人什么都信，明哲人步步谨慎。

告诉他们，‘王说，要把这人关在监牢，只给他一些饼和水，直到我平安地回来。’”

于是，以色列王就召来了大约四百名先知，问他们：“我可以去攻打基列的拉末吗？”他们说：“可以去，主必把那城交在王手中。”

“你派人送信给所有被掳的人，说，‘耶和华说祂没有差遣尼希兰人示玛雅，他却说预言，诱使你们听信谎言，

上帝就让他们是非不辨，去相信那些虚假的谎言，

“以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说，‘我必折断巴比伦王奴役你们的轭。

难道你们不是见了虚假的异象，说了虚谎的预言吗？你们说这是耶和华说的，其实我并没有说。’”

耶和华说：“看啊，我要对付那些假先知，他们妄自说预言，却谎称是耶和华的话。”耶和华说：“看啊，我要对付那些假先知，他们谎称我托梦给他们，四处宣扬，用弥天大谎把我的子民引入歧途。其实我并没有差遣他们，也没有委派他们，他们对我的子民毫无益处。这是耶和华说的。”

你的先知所见的异象虚假无用。他们没有揭露你的罪恶，以致你被掳。他们给你的预言虚假谬误。
