我没有使义人忧伤，你们却以谎言叫他们灰心。你们怂恿恶人不要改邪归正，以致他们丧命。

我不使义人伤心，你们却以谎话使他伤心，又坚固恶人的手，使他不回头离开恶道得以救活。

我未曾使义人伤心，你们却以谎话使他伤心，且又坚固恶人的手，不使他回转离开恶道得以存活。

我未曾使义人伤心，你们却以谎话使他伤心，且又坚固恶人的手，不使他回转离开恶道得以存活。

我没有使义人灰心，你们却用谎言使他们灰心，又坚固恶人的手，使他们不转离恶道而得拯救。

我不使義人傷心，你們卻以謊話使他傷心，又堅固惡人的手，使他不回頭離開惡道得以救活。

我未曾使義人傷心，你們卻以謊話使他傷心，且又堅固惡人的手，不使他回轉離開惡道得以存活。

因為你們弄虛假事叫義人灰心（並不是我使他灰心），你們又加強惡人的手，使他不回轉離開壞行徑以救活自己，

惟彼義人、我未使之殷憂、爾以妄誕使之心戚、亦堅惡人之手、致不轉離邪途、而得生存、

作善者流、我不使之殷憂、爾述妄誕、使彼中心戚戚、維彼惡人、爾言必生、使心剛愎、恆作惡事、終不悛改、

惟彼善人、我不使之憂、爾言妄誕、使彼中心憂戚、又使惡人膽敢不忌、俾不離惡道、不得生存、

Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies, when I had brought them no grief, and because you encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives,

I had not made godly people sad. But when you told them lies, you made them lose all hope. You advised sinful people not to turn from their evil ways. You did not want them to save their lives.

Because you have disheartened the righteous falsely, although I have not grieved him, and you have encouraged the wicked, that he should not turn from his evil way to save his life,

You have discouraged the righteous with your lies, but I didn’t want them to be sad. And you have encouraged the wicked by promising them life, even though they continue in their sins.

Because you have disheartened the righteous person with lies( when I intended no distress), and because you have supported the wicked person so that he does not turn from his evil way to save his life,

Because you disheartened the righteous with falsehood when I did not cause him pain, but you have encouraged the wicked not to turn from his wicked way to keep him alive,

“ Because with lies you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and you have strengthened the hands of the wicked, so that he does not turn from his wicked way to save his life.

Because with lies ye have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad, and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive;

Because you have disheartened the righteous person with lies, even though I have not caused him grief, and because you have encouraged the wicked person not to turn from his evil way to save his life,

Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

This is because you have disheartened the righteous person with lies( although I have not grieved him), and because you have encouraged the wicked person not to turn from his evil conduct and preserve his life.

Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive.

我也看见耶路撒冷的先知行为可恶，他们通奸，谎话连篇，怂恿恶人，以致无人悔过自新。在我眼中，耶路撒冷人就像所多玛人和蛾摩拉人一样败坏。

他们不断对藐视我的人说，‘耶和华说你们必安享太平。’他们对那些执迷不悟的人说，‘灾祸不会降到你们身上。’

对他说：“你去走遍耶路撒冷，在那些因城中可憎之事而叹息哀伤的人额上画个记号。”

他们就是那些向耶路撒冷说假预言，在没有平安的时候宣称看到了平安异象的以色列先知。这是主耶和华说的。”

我说：“主耶和华啊！众先知不停地告诉他们不会有战争，也不会遭遇饥荒，说耶和华必在这地方赐给他们永久的平安。”耶和华对我说：“那些先知奉我的名说假预言，我并没有差派他们，没有委任他们，也没有对他们说话。他们对你们说的预言是假异象，是占卜，是凭空捏造。我没有差派他们，他们却奉我的名说这地方必没有战争和饥荒。他们必死于战争和饥荒。这是耶和华说的。至于听他们说预言的人以及那些人的妻子儿女，必因饥荒和战争而暴尸耶路撒冷街头。因为我要使他们受到应得的报应。“耶利米，你要对他们说，‘让我昼夜泪眼汪汪吧，因为我的同胞遭受重创，遍体鳞伤。

我说：“唉！主耶和华啊，你完全欺骗了这群百姓和耶路撒冷人，因为你说，‘你们会安享太平。’其实剑锋已指着他们的咽喉了。”

他们敷衍了事地医治我子民的伤痛，说，‘没事了，没事了！’其实情况很糟。

他们口出狂言，空话连篇，以肉体的邪情私欲为饵，诱惑那些刚刚摆脱了荒谬生活的人。他们应许那些人可以得自由，而自己却做罪恶的奴隶，因为人被什么制服，就被什么奴役。

“恶人若肯痛改前非，遵守我的律例，秉公行义，就必活着，不致死亡。

因此，耶和华说，‘我要把你从世上除掉，你今年必死，因为你背叛了耶和华。’”

蛇对女人说：“你们一定不会死！上帝那样说是因为祂知道你们吃了那树的果子以后，眼睛就会明亮，像上帝一样懂得分辨善恶。”

论到那些先知，我的心都碎了，我的骨头都颤抖。因为耶和华和祂圣言的缘故，我好像不胜酒力的醉汉。

我哭得眼睛失明，心如刀割，肝胆欲碎，因为人民惨遭毁灭，儿童和婴孩昏倒在街头。孩子们问母亲：“哪里有饼和酒呢？”他们像受伤的勇士，昏倒在城中的街头，在母亲怀中奄奄一息。耶路撒冷啊，我该说什么呢？谁能与你的苦难相比呢？锡安啊，我用什么话语才能安慰你呢？你的伤口深如海洋，谁能医治你呢？你的先知所见的异象虚假无用。他们没有揭露你的罪恶，以致你被掳。他们给你的预言虚假谬误。

我虽对恶人说他必定要死，但他若改邪归正，行事公正仁义，偿还抵押，归还赃物，遵行生命之律例，不再犯罪，就必存活，不致死亡。他犯的罪不会被追究，因为他行事公正仁义，所以必得存活。

他们敷衍了事地医治我子民的伤痛，说，‘没事了，没事了！’其实情况很糟。

所以耶和华必惩罚他和他的后代，使他断子绝孙，看不到耶和华赐给祂子民的福祉，因为他说了悖逆耶和华的话。这是耶和华说的。’”

不要听信那些先知骗人的预言，他们说巴比伦王不会征服你们。耶和华并没有派他们，他们却奉祂的名说假预言。如果你们听信他们的话，耶和华必把你们和假先知赶走，使你们一同灭亡。”我也对祭司和全体民众说：“耶和华说，‘你们不要听信假先知骗人的预言，他们说耶和华殿里的器皿很快就要从巴比伦运回来了。你们不可听信他们的话。你们要臣服于巴比伦王，以便存活。何必使这城沦为废墟呢？
