你們為了幾捧大麥、為了幾塊餅、在我人民中間褻瀆了我，對我這些愛聽謊言的人民用你們的謊言殺死不該死的人，救活了不該活的人。

爾為數掬之麰麥、數方之餅、辱我於我民中、我民聽從妄誕、爾與之言誑、以殺不當死者、而存不當生者、

爾欲得一掬之麥、一方之餅、迷惑我民、聽爾妄誕、偽託我名、民之不當死者、爾言必死、當死者、爾言必生、

爾曹為數握之麰麥、數片之餅、褻瀆我於我民中、我民喜聽誑言、爾則為述誑言、不當死者、爾言必死、不當生者、爾言必生、

You have profaned me among my people for a few handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live.

You have treated me as if I were not holy. You did it among my very own people. You did it for a few handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. You told lies to my people. They like to listen to lies. You killed those who should have lived. And you spared those who should have died.”

You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, putting to death souls who should not die and keeping alive souls who should not live, by your lying to my people, who listen to lies.

You bring shame on me among my people for a few handfuls of barley or a piece of bread. By lying to my people who love to listen to lies, you kill those who should not die, and you promise life to those who should not live.

You profane me among my people for handfuls of barley and scraps of bread; you put those to death who should not die and spare those who should not live, when you lie to my people, who listen to lies.

For handfuls of barley and pieces of bread, you have profaned Me to My people, to put to death some who should not die, and to keep others alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies.” ’ ”

And will you profane Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, killing people who should not die, and keeping people alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies?”

And ye have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hearken unto lies.

You profane Me in front of My people for handfuls of barley and scraps of bread; you kill those who should not die and spare those who should not live, when you lie to My people, who listen to lies.

And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear[ your] lies?

You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. You have put to death people who should not die and kept alive those who should not live by your lies to my people, who listen to lies!

徇私偏袒實不可取，人卻為一餅而枉法。

耶和華說：「使我的子民步入歧途的先知啊，你們向供養你們的人報平安，出言攻擊那不供養你們的人。

他們不斷對藐視我的人說，『耶和華說你們必安享太平。』他們對那些執迷不悟的人說，『災禍不會降到你們身上。』

我也看見耶路撒冷的先知行為可惡，他們通姦，謊話連篇，慫恿惡人，以致無人悔過自新。在我眼中，耶路撒冷人就像所多瑪人和蛾摩拉人一樣敗壞。

你的祭司強解我的律法，褻瀆我的聖物。他們聖俗不分，也不教導人分辨潔淨的和污穢的。他們藐視我的安息日，褻瀆我。

「主耶和華說，『你們以色列人若不聽我的話，就去供奉你們的偶像吧！但將來你們必不再向偶像獻祭物褻瀆我的聖名！』

許多人會效法他們邪惡無恥的行為，致使真理之道被人毀謗。他們貪婪成性，想用花言巧語在你們身上謀利。這種人的刑罰自古已經判定，他們很快就會滅亡。

如果獻祭的人答道：「要先焚燒脂肪，之後你可以隨便拿。」僕人便會說：「不，你現在就給我，不然我就要搶了。」在耶和華的眼中，這兩個青年罪惡深重，因為他們輕視獻給耶和華的祭物。

我沒有使義人憂傷，你們卻以謊言叫他們灰心。你們慫恿惡人不要改邪歸正，以致他們喪命。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我真希望你們當中有人把殿門關上，免得你們在我祭壇上枉然點火。因為我不喜悅你們，也不接納你們的祭物。」

務要牧養上帝託付給你們的羊群，按著上帝的旨意甘心樂意地照顧他們，不是出於勉強，不是為了謀利，而是出於熱誠。

這樣，你的知識反而令那軟弱的人，就是基督捨命救回的弟兄沉淪。

城裡的首領為貪贓而枉法，祭司為銀子而施教，先知為錢財而占卜。他們卻宣稱倚靠耶和華，說：「耶和華不是在我們當中嗎？災禍不會臨到我們。」

如果你吃的東西令弟兄姊妹不安，你就不是憑愛心行事。你不可因為一點食物而損害基督捨命救贖的人。

他們並不是在事奉我們的主基督，只是為了滿足自己的慾望，用花言巧語欺騙單純善良的人。

孩子啊，你若不聽教誨，就會偏離知識。
