“ Now, son of man, speak out against the women who prophesy from their own imaginations.

“人子啊，你要面向本民中、从己心发预言的女子说预言，攻击她们，

“你，人子啊，要面向你百姓中随心说预言的妇女们，说预言攻击她们，

“你，人子啊，要面向你百姓中随心说预言的妇女们，说预言攻击她们，

“人子啊，你要说预言斥责你同胞中私自发预言的女子，

“人子啊！你要面向民中那些随着自己心意说预言的女子，说预言攻击她们。你要说：

「人子啊，你要面向本民中、從己心發預言的女子說預言，攻擊她們，

「你，人子啊，要面向你百姓中隨心說預言的婦女們，說預言攻擊她們，

「你，人子啊，要面向你百姓中隨心說預言的婦女們，說預言攻擊她們，

「人子啊，你要說預言斥責你同胞中私自發預言的女子，

“人子啊！你要面向民中那些隨著自己心意說預言的女子，說預言攻擊她們。你要說：

『你呢、人子啊，你要板着臉盯着你人民的婦女、就是那些隨着自己心意發神言狂的人；你要傳神言攻擊她們，

人子歟、我民女以己意預言、爾其預言以抵之、

民中婦女、所言皆臆說、人子、爾當告之云、

惟爾人子、爾民中有婦女、任意任意或作從私心妄造預言、爾當面向彼述預言曰、

“ Now, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination. Prophesy against them

“ Son of man, turn your attention to the daughters of your people. What they prophesy comes out of their own minds. So prophesy against them.

“ And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own hearts. Prophesy against them

“ Now you, son of man, face the women among your people who prophesy out of their own imagination, and prophesy against them.

“ Now you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who are talking like prophets from their own imagination. Prophesy against them

“ Likewise, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; prophesy against them,

And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, that prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

“ Now, son of man, turn toward the women of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination. Prophesy against them

Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

“ As for you, son of man, turn toward the daughters of your people who are prophesying from their imagination. Prophesy against them

You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,

“ Son of man, prophesy against the false prophets of Israel who are inventing their own prophecies. Say to them,‘ Listen to the word of the Lord.

“ But I have this complaint against you. You are permitting that woman— that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet— to lead my servants astray. She teaches them to commit sexual sin and to eat food offered to idols.

Deborah, the wife of Lappidoth, was a prophet who was judging Israel at that time.

So Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Acbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went to the New Quarter of Jerusalem to consult with the prophet Huldah. She was the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, son of Harhas, the keeper of the Temple wardrobe.

Anna, a prophet, was also there in the Temple. She was the daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher, and she was very old. Her husband died when they had been married only seven years.

But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves.

The Lord says,“ Beautiful Zion is haughty: craning her elegant neck, flirting with her eyes, walking with dainty steps, tinkling her ankle bracelets.So the Lord will send scabs on her head; the Lord will make beautiful Zion bald.”On that day of judgment the Lord will strip away everything that makes her beautiful: ornaments, headbands, crescent necklaces,earrings, bracelets, and veils;scarves, ankle bracelets, sashes, perfumes, and charms;rings, jewels,party clothes, gowns, capes, and purses;mirrors, fine linen garments, head ornaments, and shawls.Instead of smelling of sweet perfume, she will stink. She will wear a rope for a sash, and her elegant hair will fall out. She will wear rough burlap instead of rich robes. Shame will replace her beauty.The men of the city will be killed with the sword, and her warriors will die in battle.The gates of Zion will weep and mourn. The city will be like a ravaged woman, huddled on the ground.

“ Son of man, turn and face the south and speak out against it; prophesy against the brushlands of the Negev.

The Lord will wash the filth from beautiful Zion and cleanse Jerusalem of its bloodstains with the hot breath of fiery judgment.

Then take an iron griddle and place it between you and the city. Turn toward the city and demonstrate how harsh the siege will be against Jerusalem. This will be a warning to the people of Israel.

“ Son of man, turn and face Jerusalem and prophesy against Israel and her sanctuaries.
