因为他们欺骗我的子民说，‘平安！’其实并没有平安，就像有人筑了一道薄墙，用白灰加以粉饰。

因为他们迷惑了我的子民，说：‘平安了。’其实没有平安。有人筑起薄墙的时候，他们就用灰泥粉刷那墙。

因為他們誘惑我的百姓，說：『平安！』其實沒有平安，就像有人立起牆壁，他們倒用未泡透的灰抹上。

因為他們欺騙我的子民說，『平安！』其實並沒有平安，就像有人築了一道薄牆，用白灰加以粉飾。

因為他們迷惑了我的子民，說：‘平安了。’其實沒有平安。有人築起薄牆的時候，他們就用灰泥粉刷那牆。

因為他們真地領導我人民走錯了路，說：「平安」，其實沒有平安。就像人、築了薄弱的牆，假神言人倒用灰水去塗抹。

蓋彼誘惑我民、謂曰平康、實無平康、人築垣墉、彼以不堅之泥塗之、

蓋彼先知、誘惑我民、謂有平康、平康不至、若作垣墉、一人築之、而他人以不堅緻之泥塗之。

因彼誘惑我民、無平康之時、反言有平康、猶如我民築墻、彼乃塗灰、

“‘ Because they lead my people astray, saying,“ Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash,

“‘ “They lead my people away from me. They say,‘ Peace.’ But there isn’t any peace. They are like people who build a weak wall. They try to cover up the weakness by painting the wall white.

Precisely because they have misled my people, saying,‘ Peace,’ when there is no peace, and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets smear it with whitewash,

“ This will happen because these evil prophets deceive my people by saying,‘ All is peaceful’ when there is no peace at all! It’s as if the people have built a flimsy wall, and these prophets are trying to reinforce it by covering it with whitewash!

“‘ Since they have led my people astray by saying,“ Peace,” when there is no peace, and since when a flimsy wall is being built, they plaster it with whitewash,

It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying,‘ Peace!’ when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash;

“ Because, indeed, because they have seduced My people, saying,‘ Peace!’ when there is no peace— and one builds a wall, and they plaster it with untempered mortar—

Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one buildeth up a wall, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar:

“ Since they have led My people astray saying,‘ Peace,’ when there is no peace, for when someone builds a wall they plaster it with whitewash,

Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and[ there was] no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered[ morter]:

“‘ This is because they have led my people astray saying,“ All is well,” when things are not well. When anyone builds a wall without mortar, they coat it with whitewash.

“‘ Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying,“ Peace;” and there is no peace. When one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash.

这就是以色列的先知，他们指着耶路撒冷说预言，见到这城平安的异象，其实没有平安。这是主耶和华说的。”

其中的先知为他们粉刷，见虚假的异象，行谎诈的占卜，说：‘主耶和华如此说’，其实耶和华并没有说。

他们轻忽地医治我百姓的损伤，说：‘平安了！平安了！’其实没有平安。

我就说：“唉！主耶和华，看哪，那些先知常对他们说：‘你们必不见刀剑，也不遭饥荒；耶和华要在这地方赏赐你们真正的平安。’”

他们轻忽地医治我百姓的损伤，说：‘平安了！平安了！’其实没有平安。

他们却不听从，并且玛拿西引诱他们行恶，比耶和华在以色列人面前所灭的列国更严重。

现在，我们称狂傲的人为有福，并且行恶的人得以建立；他们虽然试探上帝，却得以逃脱。”

我的上帝说：“恶人必不得平安！”

只是作恶的和骗人的将变本加厉，迷惑人也被人迷惑。

至于那预言平安的先知，到先知的话应验的时候，人就知道他真是耶和华所差来的。”

就是先知说假预言，祭司把权柄抓在自己手上，我的百姓也喜爱这样，到了结局你们要怎么办呢？”

他们常对藐视我的人说：‘耶和华说：你们必享平安’又对一切按自己顽梗之心而行的人说：‘灾祸必不临到你们。’”

我们指望平安，却得不着福气；指望痊愈时刻，看哪，受了惊惶。

我说：“哀哉！主耶和华啊，你真是大大欺哄这百姓和耶路撒冷，说：‘你们必得平安。’其实刀剑已经抵住喉咙了！”

若有人心存虚假，用谎言说：“我向你们传讲可得清酒和烈酒”，那人就必作这百姓的传讲者。

圣灵明说，在末后的时期必有人离弃信仰，去听信那诱惑人的邪灵和鬼魔的教训。

我的百姓成了失丧的羊，牧人使他们走迷了路，转入丛山之间。他们从大山走到小山，竟忘了自己安歇之处。

我将这些话写给你们，是论到那些迷惑你们的人说的。

然而，有一件事我要责备你，就是你容忍那自称是先知的妇人耶洗别教唆我的仆人，引诱他们犯淫乱，吃祭过偶像之物。

义人引导他的邻舍；恶人的道叫人迷失。

他们对先见说：“不要再看了”；对先知说：“不要向我们预言正直的事；要对我们说好听的话，预言虚幻的事。

我在撒玛利亚的先知中曾见狂妄的事；他们藉巴力说预言，使我的百姓以色列走迷了路。我在耶路撒冷的先知中曾见恐怖的事；他们犯奸淫，行虚谎，又坚固恶人的手，无人回转离开自己的恶行。他们在我面前都像所多玛，耶路撒冷的居民都像蛾摩拉。因此，万军之耶和华论到先知如此说：“看哪，我必使他们吃茵陈，喝苦水；因为亵渎的事出于耶路撒冷的先知，遍及各地。”

那去召米该雅的使者对他说：“看哪，众先知都异口同声向王说吉言，你也跟他们说一样的话，说吉言吧！”

毁灭来到；他们求平安，却没有平安。
