因此主永恆主這麼說：你們刺死的人、就是你們所放在城中的、他們乃是肉，這城呢、乃是鍋；你們呢、卻要從城中被帶出。

故主耶和華曰、爾於斯邑、所陳之尸為肉、斯邑為鼎、惟爾被攜而出焉、

故我耶告華曰、爾既殺人、其尸若肉、斯邑若鼎、惟我逐爾於外。

故主天主如是云、爾於邑中所殺者、其屍若肉、斯邑若釜、惟爾曹我必逐出其中、

“ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.

“ So the Lord and King says,‘ The bodies you have thrown there are the meat. And the city is the cooking pot. But I will drive you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the meat, and this city is the cauldron, but you shall be brought out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: This city is an iron pot all right, but the pieces of meat are the victims of your injustice. As for you, I will soon drag you from this pot.

“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will take you out of it.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of the city are the meat and this city is the pot; but I will bring you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ Your slain whom you have laid in its midst, they are the meat, and this city is the caldron; but I shall bring you out of the midst of it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but ye shall be brought forth out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will remove you from it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they[ are] the flesh, and this[ city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

Therefore, this is what the sovereign LORD says:‘ The corpses you have dumped in the midst of the city are the meat, and this city is the cooking pot, but I will take you out of it.

“‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the middle of it, they are the meat, and this is the cauldron; but you will be brought out of the middle of it.

你要向这悖逆之家设比喻，对他们说，主耶和华如此说：把锅放在火上，放好了，倒水在其中；要将肉块，一切肥美的肉块，腿和肩都放在锅里，要装满上等的骨头；要取羊群中最好的，把柴堆在下面，把它煮开，骨头煮在其中。“主耶和华如此说：祸哉！这流人血的城，就是长锈的锅。它的锈未曾除掉，要将肉块从其中一一取出，不必抽签。这城所流的血还在城中，血倒在光滑的磐石上，没有倒在地上，用土掩盖；是我使这城所流的血倒在光滑的磐石上，不得掩盖，为要惹动愤怒，施行报应。所以主耶和华如此说：祸哉！这流人血的城，我必亲自加大柴堆。你要添上木柴，使火着旺，将肉煮烂，加上香料，烤焦骨头；你要把空锅放在炭火上，将锅烧热，把铜烧红，熔化其中的污秽，除净其上的锈。然而这一切劳碌无效，它厚厚的锈，即使用火也除不掉。虽然我想洁净你污秽的淫行，你却不洁净，你的污秽再也不能洁净，直等我止息了向你发的愤怒。

你们恶善好恶，剥我百姓身上的皮，从他们的骨头上剔肉，你们吃我百姓的肉，剥他们的皮，打断他们的骨头，如切块下锅，如釜中的肉。

护卫长拿住西莱雅大祭司、西番亚副祭司和门口的三个守卫，又从城中拿住一个管理士兵的官，并在城里所找到王面前的五个亲信，和召募当地百姓之将军的书记官，以及在城中找到的六十个当地百姓。尼布撒拉旦护卫长把这些人带到利比拉的巴比伦王那里。巴比伦王击杀他们，在哈马地的利比拉把他们处死。这样，犹大人就被掳去离开本地。至于犹大地剩下的百姓，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒所留下的，巴比伦王立了沙番的孙子，亚希甘的儿子基大利作他们的省长。

我使你的额头像金刚石，比火石更坚硬。他们虽是悖逆之家，但你不要怕他们，也不要因他们的脸色而惊惶。”他又对我说：“人子啊，我对你说的一切话，你心里要领会，耳朵要听。要到被掳的人，到你本国百姓那里去，他们或听，或不听，你要对他们宣讲，告诉他们这是主耶和华说的。”
