所以主耶和华如此说：你们杀在城中的人就是肉，这城就是锅；你们却要从其中被带出去。

因此主永恆主這麼說：你們刺死的人、就是你們所放在城中的、他們乃是肉，這城呢、乃是鍋；你們呢、卻要從城中被帶出。

故主耶和華曰、爾於斯邑、所陳之尸為肉、斯邑為鼎、惟爾被攜而出焉、

故我耶告華曰、爾既殺人、其尸若肉、斯邑若鼎、惟我逐爾於外。

故主天主如是云、爾於邑中所殺者、其屍若肉、斯邑若釜、惟爾曹我必逐出其中、

“ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.

“ So the Lord and King says,‘ The bodies you have thrown there are the meat. And the city is the cooking pot. But I will drive you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the meat, and this city is the cauldron, but you shall be brought out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: This city is an iron pot all right, but the pieces of meat are the victims of your injustice. As for you, I will soon drag you from this pot.

“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will take you out of it.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of the city are the meat and this city is the pot; but I will bring you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ Your slain whom you have laid in its midst, they are the meat, and this city is the caldron; but I shall bring you out of the midst of it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but ye shall be brought forth out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will remove you from it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they[ are] the flesh, and this[ city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

Therefore, this is what the sovereign LORD says:‘ The corpses you have dumped in the midst of the city are the meat, and this city is the cooking pot, but I will take you out of it.

“‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the middle of it, they are the meat, and this is the cauldron; but you will be brought out of the middle of it.

要向这悖逆之家设比喻说，主耶和华如此说：将锅放在火上，放好了，就倒水在其中；将肉块，就是一切肥美的肉块、腿，和肩都聚在其中，拿美好的骨头把锅装满；取羊群中最好的，将柴堆在锅下，使锅开滚，好把骨头煮在其中。”主耶和华如此说：“祸哉！这流人血的城，就是长锈的锅。其中的锈未曾除掉，须要将肉块从其中一一取出来，不必为它拈阄。城中所流的血倒在净光的磐石上，不倒在地上，用土掩盖。这城中所流的血倒在净光的磐石上，不得掩盖，乃是出于我，为要发忿怒施行报应。所以主耶和华如此说：祸哉！这流人血的城，我也必大堆火柴，添上木柴，使火着旺，将肉煮烂，把汤熬浓，使骨头烤焦；把锅倒空坐在炭火上，使锅烧热，使铜烧红，熔化其中的污秽，除净其上的锈。这锅劳碌疲乏，所长的大锈仍未除掉；这锈就是用火也不能除掉。在你污秽中有淫行，我洁净你，你却不洁净。你的污秽再不能洁净，直等我向你发的忿怒止息。

你们恶善好恶，从人身上剥皮，从人骨头上剔肉，吃我民的肉，剥他们的皮，打折他们的骨头，分成块子像要下锅，又像釜中的肉。

护卫长拿住大祭司西莱雅、副祭司西番亚，和三个把门的，又从城中拿住一个管理兵丁的官，并在城里所遇常见王面的五个人和检点国民军长的书记，以及城里遇见的国民六十个人。护卫长尼布撒拉旦将这些人带到在利比拉的巴比伦王那里。巴比伦王就把他们击杀在哈马地的利比拉。这样，犹大人被掳去离开本地。至于犹大国剩下的民，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒所剩下的，巴比伦王立了沙番的孙子、亚希甘的儿子基大利作他们的省长。

我使你的额像金钢钻，比火石更硬。他们虽是悖逆之家，你不要怕他们，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。”他又对我说：“人子啊，我对你所说的一切话，要心里领会，耳中听闻。你往你本国被掳的子民那里去，他们或听，或不听，你要对他们讲说，告诉他们这是主耶和华说的。”
