因此主永恆主這麼說：你們刺死的人、就是你們所放在城中的、他們乃是肉，這城呢、乃是鍋；你們呢、卻要從城中被帶出。

故主耶和華曰、爾於斯邑、所陳之尸為肉、斯邑為鼎、惟爾被攜而出焉、

故我耶告華曰、爾既殺人、其尸若肉、斯邑若鼎、惟我逐爾於外。

故主天主如是云、爾於邑中所殺者、其屍若肉、斯邑若釜、惟爾曹我必逐出其中、

“ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.

“ So the Lord and King says,‘ The bodies you have thrown there are the meat. And the city is the cooking pot. But I will drive you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the meat, and this city is the cauldron, but you shall be brought out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: This city is an iron pot all right, but the pieces of meat are the victims of your injustice. As for you, I will soon drag you from this pot.

“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will take you out of it.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of the city are the meat and this city is the pot; but I will bring you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ Your slain whom you have laid in its midst, they are the meat, and this city is the caldron; but I shall bring you out of the midst of it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but ye shall be brought forth out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will remove you from it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they[ are] the flesh, and this[ city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

Therefore, this is what the sovereign LORD says:‘ The corpses you have dumped in the midst of the city are the meat, and this city is the cooking pot, but I will take you out of it.

“‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the middle of it, they are the meat, and this is the cauldron; but you will be brought out of the middle of it.

你要向这叛逆的民族设比喻，对他们说：‘主耶和华这样说：把锅放在火上，放好了，就把水倒在锅里；把肉块，就是所有肥美的肉块，腿肉和肩肉，都放进锅里；用上好的骨头把锅装满。要选用羊群中最好的，把柴堆放在锅底下，使锅沸腾，把骨头煮在锅中。“‘因此，主耶和华这样说：流人血的城，就是长锈的锅，有祸了！它的锈未曾除掉，要把锅里的东西一块一块取出来，不必为它们抽签。因为她所流的血还在城中；她把血泼在光滑的磐石上，不是倒在地上，被尘土掩盖。我为了发烈怒，好施行报应，就把她的血倒在光滑的磐石上，以致不得掩盖。因此，主耶和华这样说：流人血的城，有祸了！我也必把柴堆加大。你要多加柴枝，点上火，混和香料，把肉煮烂，使骨头烧焦；然后把空锅放在炭火上，使锅烧热，使铜烧红，使其中的污秽熔化，使它的锈得以除净。这锅真叫人疲累！它厚厚的锈总没法除掉，就是用火也不能除掉。你的污秽就是淫荡。我想要洁净你，你却不愿意洁净，所以你的污秽再不能得到洁净，直等到我向你发的烈怒止息。

然而，你们恨恶良善，喜爱邪恶，从人身上剥皮，从人骨头上剔肉。你们吃我民的肉，剥他们的皮，打断他们的骨头，切成像锅里的块，像釜中的肉块。

护卫长拿住祭司长西莱雅、副祭司长西番亚和三个守门的；又从城里拿住一个管理军兵的官长，并且在城里搜获常见王面的五个人，和一个负责召募当地人民的军长书记，又在城中搜获六十个当地的人民。护卫长尼布撒拉旦把他们拿住，带到利比拉巴比伦王那里。巴比伦王击杀他们，在哈马地的利比拉把他们处死。这样，犹大人被掳，离开了他们的国土。至于在犹大地剩下来的人民，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒留下来的，巴比伦王委派沙番的孙子、亚希甘的儿子基大利管理他们。

我要使你的额好像最坚硬的宝石，比火石更硬。他们虽然是叛逆的民族，你却不要怕他们，在他们面前，也不要惊惶。”他又对我说：“人子啊！我对你说的一切话，你都要留心听，记在心里。你去，到被掳的人民那里，向他们宣讲；他们或听或不听，你只要对他们说：‘主耶和华这样说。’”
