I looked, and behold, a stormy wind came out of the north: a great cloud, with flashing lightning, and a brightness around it, and out of the middle of it as it were glowing metal, out of the middle of the fire.

我見烈風自北而來、亦有大雲、其中有火炎炎、光輝閃爍雲之四周、其中即在火中輝煌、若磨光之金、

I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north— an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal,

I looked up and saw a windstorm coming from the north. I saw a huge cloud. The fire of lightning was flashing out of it. Bright light surrounded it. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal.

As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness around it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming metal.

As I looked, I saw a great storm coming from the north, driving before it a huge cloud that flashed with lightning and shone with brilliant light. There was fire inside the cloud, and in the middle of the fire glowed something like gleaming amber.

Behold, Yahweh’s storm, his wrath, has gone out. Yes, a whirling storm: It will burst on the head of the wicked.

The burden of the wilderness of the sea. As whirlwinds in the South sweep through, it comes from the wilderness, from an awesome land.

Yahweh of Armies says,“ Behold, evil will go out from nation to nation, and a great storm will be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth.”

Yahweh’s word came to me the second time, saying,“ What do you see?” I said,“ I see a boiling cauldron; and it is tipping away from the north.”Then Yahweh said to me,“ Out of the north, evil will break out on all the inhabitants of the land.

when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking Yahweh; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised Yahweh, saying,“ For he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever!” then the house was filled with a cloud, even Yahweh’s house,so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for Yahweh’s glory filled God’s house.Then Solomon said,“ Yahweh has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Set up a standard toward Zion. Flee for safety! Don’t wait; for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.”

Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.A fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries on every side.

Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and Yahweh’s glory filled the house.The priests could not enter into Yahweh’s house, because Yahweh’s glory filled Yahweh’s house.All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and Yahweh’s glory was on the house. They bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, worshiped, and gave thanks to Yahweh, saying,“ For he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever.”

He spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said,“ Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fill both your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” He went in as I watched.Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.Yahweh’s glory mounted up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Yahweh’s glory.

He made darkness his hiding place, his pavilion around him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire.Yahweh also thundered in the sky. The Most High uttered his voice: hailstones and coals of fire.

He lays the beams of his rooms in the waters. He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings of the wind.He makes his messengers winds, and his servants flames of fire.

for our God is a consuming fire.

Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers. Bashan languishes, and Carmel; and the flower of Lebanon languishes.The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, yes, the world, and all who dwell in it.Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.

The burden of Egypt.“ Behold, Yahweh rides on a swift cloud, and comes to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence; and the heart of Egypt will melt within it.

Yahweh’s glory settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses out of the middle of the cloud.The appearance of Yahweh’s glory was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

behold, I will send and take all the families of the north,” says Yahweh,“ and I will send to Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against its inhabitants, and against all these nations around. I will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual desolations.

God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and his praise filled the earth.His splendor is like the sunrise. Rays shine from his hand, where his power is hidden.Plague went before him, and pestilence followed his feet.

You came near and stood under the mountain. The mountain burned with fire to the heart of the sky, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.Yahweh spoke to you out of the middle of the fire: you heard the voice of words, but you saw no form; you only heard a voice.

Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.

Their horses also are swifter than leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves. Their horsemen press proudly on. Yes, their horsemen come from afar. They fly as an eagle that hurries to devour.All of them come for violence. Their hordes face the desert. He gathers prisoners like sand.

On the third day, when it was morning, there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud trumpet; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.Moses led the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the lower part of the mountain.All of Mount Sinai smoked, because Yahweh descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.

The form of a man’s hand appeared here in the cherubim under their wings.I looked, and behold, there were four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub, and another wheel beside another cherub. The appearance of the wheels was like a beryl stone.

His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.

“ Flee for safety, you children of Benjamin, out of the middle of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa and raise up a signal on Beth Haccherem, for evil looks out from the north with a great destruction.
