頭一個像獅子，有鷹的翅膀；我正觀看的時候，獸的翅膀被拔去，獸從地上得立起來，用兩腳站立，像人一樣，又得了人心。

但那等候耶和華的必重新得力。他們必如鷹展翅上騰；他們奔跑卻不困倦，行走卻不疲乏。

在東邊，向日出之地，照着軍隊安營的是猶大營的纛。有亞米拿達的兒子拿順作猶大人的首領。

到第七天，日頭未落以前，那城裏的人對參孫說：有甚麼比蜜還甜呢？有甚麼比獅子還強呢？參孫對他們說：你們若非用我的母牛犢耕地，就猜不出我謎語的意思來。

「耶和華要從遠方、地極帶一國的民，如鷹飛來攻擊你。這民的言語，你不懂得。

「在南邊，按着軍隊是呂便營的纛。有示丟珥的兒子以利蓿作呂便人的首領。

大鷹上騰在高處搭窩，豈是聽你的吩咐嗎？

我告訴你們，一個罪人悔改，在神的使者面前也是這樣為他歡喜。」

就如摩西的律法記着說：「牛在場上踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。」難道神所掛念的是牛嗎？不全是為我們說的嗎？分明是為我們說的。因為耕種的當存着指望去耕種；打場的也當存得糧的指望去打場。

弟兄們，在心志上不要作小孩子。然而，在惡事上要作嬰孩，在心志上總要作大人。
