Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Ask Yahweh to remove the frogs from me and my people. Then I will let the people go and they can sacrifice to Yahweh.”

法老召了摩西、亚伦来，说：“请你们求耶和华使这青蛙离开我和我的民，我就容百姓去祭祀耶和华。”

Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Pray to the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will let your people go to offer sacrifices to the Lord.”

Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron. He said to them,“ Pray to the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people. Then I’ll let your people go to offer sacrifices to the Lord.”

Then Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron and said,“ Plead with the Lord to take away the frogs from me and from my people, and I will let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.”

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and begged,“ Plead with the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people. I will let your people go, so they can offer sacrifices to the Lord.”

Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Appeal to the LORD to remove the frogs from me and my people. Then I will let the people go and they can sacrifice to the LORD.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said,“ Plead with the Lord to remove the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, so that they may sacrifice to the Lord.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said,“ Entreat the Lord that He may take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to the Lord.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat Jehovah, that he take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice unto Jehovah.

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Pray to the LORD that he may take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will release the people that they may sacrifice to the LORD.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said,“ Entreat Yahweh, that he take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to Yahweh.”

Please forgive my sin once more and make an appeal to Yahweh your God, so that He will take this death away from me.”

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Go sacrifice to your God within the country.”But Moses said,“ It would not be right to do that, because what we will sacrifice to the Lord our God is detestable to the Egyptians. If we sacrifice what the Egyptians detest in front of them, won’t they stone us?We must go a distance of three days into the wilderness and sacrifice to the Lord our God as He instructs us.”Pharaoh responded,“ I will let you go and sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness, but don’t go very far. Make an appeal for me.”

Make an appeal to Yahweh. There has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let you go; you don’t need to stay any longer.”

The people then came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Intercede with the Lord so that He will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

He summoned Moses and Aaron during the night and said,“ Get up, leave my people, both you and the Israelites, and go, worship Yahweh as you have asked.Take even your flocks and your herds as you asked and leave, and also bless me.”

Then the king responded to the man of God,“ Plead for the favor of the Lord your God and pray for me so that my hand may be restored to me.” So the man of God pleaded for the favor of the Lord, and the king’s hand was restored to him and became as it had been at first.

So Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh.“ Go, worship Yahweh your God,” Pharaoh said.“ But exactly who will be going?”Moses replied,“ We will go with our young and our old; we will go with our sons and daughters and with our flocks and herds because we must hold Yahweh’s festival.”He said to them,“ May Yahweh be with you if I ever let you and your families go! Look out— you are planning evil.No, only the men may go and worship Yahweh, for that is what you have been asking for.” And they were driven from Pharaoh’s presence.

“ Please pray to the Lord for me,” Simon replied,“ so that nothing you have said may happen to me.”

Say to God,“ How awe-inspiring are Your works! Your enemies will cringe before You because of Your great strength.

But Pharaoh responded,“ Who is Yahweh that I should obey Him by letting Israel go? I do not know anything about Yahweh, and besides, I will not let Israel go.”

When He killed some of them, the rest began to seek Him; they repented and searched for God.They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God, their Redeemer.But they deceived Him with their mouths, they lied to Him with their tongues,

They pleaded with Samuel,“ Pray to the Lord your God for your servants, so we won’t die! For we have added to all our sins the evil of requesting a king for ourselves.”

This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord after King Zedekiah made a covenant with all the people who were in Jerusalem to proclaim freedom to them,so each man would free his male and female Hebrew slaves and no one would enslave his Judean brother.All the officials and people who entered into covenant to free their male and female slaves— in order not to enslave them any longer— obeyed and freed them.Afterward, however, they changed their minds and took back their male and female slaves they had freed and forced them to become slaves again.Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah from the Lord:“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery, saying:At the end of seven years, each of you must free his Hebrew brother who sold himself to you. He may serve you six years, but then you must send him out free from you. But your ancestors did not obey Me or pay any attention.Today you repented and did what pleased Me, each of you proclaiming freedom for his neighbor. You made a covenant before Me at the temple called by My name.But you have changed your minds and profaned My name. Each has taken back his male and female slaves who had been freed to go wherever they wanted, and you have again subjugated them to be your slaves.

Pharaoh summoned Moses and said,“ Go, worship Yahweh. Even your families may go with you; only your flocks and herds must stay behind.”Moses responded,“ You must also let us have sacrifices and burnt offerings to prepare for Yahweh our God.Even our livestock must go with us; not a hoof will be left behind because we will take some of them to worship Yahweh our God. We will not know what we will use to worship Yahweh until we get there.”But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was unwilling to let them go.

When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about the people and said:“ What have we done? We have released Israel from serving us.”
