Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Go to Pharaoh and say to him,‘ This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me.

( 7: 26) Then the LORD said to Moses,“ Go to Pharaoh and tell him,‘ Thus says the LORD:“ Release my people in order that they may serve me!

Yahweh spoke to Moses,“ Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him,‘ This is what Yahweh says,“ Let my people go, that they may serve me.

他們必聽你的話；你和以色列的長老要到埃及王那裡去，對他說：‘耶和華希伯來人的神遇見了我們。現在求你讓我們走三天的路程到曠野去，好獻祭給耶和華我們的神。’

你要對法老說：‘耶和華希伯來人的神差我到你這裡來，說：“讓我的人民離開這裡，好使他們可以在曠野事奉我”，你看，直到現在你還是不聽。

“人子啊！至於你，雖然荊棘和蒺藜在你周圍，你又住在蠍子群中，你不要怕他們，也不要怕他們講的話。他們原是叛逆的民族，你總不要怕他們講的話，在他們面前，也不要驚惶。他們或聽或不聽，你只要把我的話告訴他們，他們原是叛逆的。

“因此，你要束腰，你要起來，把我吩咐你的一切話，都告訴他們。不要因他們驚惶，不然我就使你在他們面前驚惶。看哪！今日我使你成為堅城、鐵柱、銅牆，抵擋全地，就是抵擋猶大的君王、首領、祭司和這地的眾民。他們必攻擊你，卻不能勝過你，因為我與你同在，要拯救你。”這是耶和華的宣告。

因此，耶和華這樣說：“如果你回轉，我必讓你回來，你就可以侍立在我面前。如果你說寶貴的話，不說無價值的話，就必作我的口。他們要歸向你，你卻不要歸向他們。我要使你成為堅固的銅牆抵擋這人民，他們必攻擊你，卻不能勝過你；因為我與你同在，要拯救你，搭救你。”這是耶和華的宣告。“我必搭救你脫離惡人的手，救贖你脫離強暴人的掌握（“掌握”原文作“手掌”）。”
