I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Yahweh I was not known to them.

I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the Lord I did not make myself fully known to them.

I appeared to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the Mighty God. But I did not show them the full meaning of my name, The Lord.

that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.

Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! Extol him who rides on the clouds: to Yah, his name! Rejoice before him!

When Abram was ninety- nine years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am God Almighty. Walk before me and be blameless.

Jesus said to them,“ Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM.”

God said to Moses,“ I AM WHO I AM,” and he said,“ You shall tell the children of Israel this:‘ I AM has sent me to you.’”

Jacob said to Joseph,“ God Almighty appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,

John, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;

God said to him,“ I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations will be from you, and kings will come out of your body.

Yahweh appeared to Abram and said,“ I will give this land to your offspring.” He built an altar there to Yahweh, who had appeared to him.He left from there to go to the mountain on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to Yahweh and called on Yahweh’s name.

This is what Yahweh, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Yahweh of Armies, says:“ I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.

“ Now therefore, what do I do here,” says Yahweh,“ seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them mock,” says Yahweh,“ and my name is blasphemed continually all day long.Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks. Behold, it is I.”

Abram moved his tent, and came and lived by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and built an altar there to Yahweh.

“ I am Yahweh. That is my name. I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to engraved images.

May God Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a company of peoples,

Abraham called the name of that place“ Yahweh Will Provide”. As it is said to this day,“ On Yahweh’s mountain, it will be provided.”
