and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but by My name, Lord, I did not make Myself known to them.

I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the Lord I did not make myself fully known to them.

I appeared to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the Mighty God. But I did not show them the full meaning of my name, The Lord.

Now when Abram was ninety nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am God Almighty; Walk before Me, and be blameless.

Jesus said to them,“ Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.”

And God said to Moses,“ I AM WHO I AM”; and He said,“ This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel:‘ I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

Then Jacob said to Joseph,“ God Almighty appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me,

John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before His throne,

God also said to him,“ I am God Almighty; Be fruitful and multiply; A nation and a multitude of nations shall come from you, And kings shall come from you.

And the Lord appeared to Abram and said,“ To your descendants I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the Lord who had appeared to him.Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord.

“ This is what the Lord says, He who is the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of armies:‘ I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.

And now, what do I have here,” declares the Lord,“ seeing that My people have been taken away without reason?” Again the Lord declares,“ Those who rule over them howl, and My name is continually reviled all day long.Therefore, My people shall know My name; therefore on that day I am the one who is speaking,‘ Here I am.’ ”

Then Abram moved his tent and came and lived by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron; and there he built an altar to the Lord.

I am the Lord, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to idols.

May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, so that you may become a multitude of peoples.

And Abraham named that place The Lord Will Provide, as it is said to this day,“ On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”
