and I have said unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me; and thou hast refused to let him go: behold, I will slay thy son, thy first- born.

我对你说过让我的长子出去事奉我，但你执意不肯。看啊，我要杀你的长子。’”

我曾对你说，要让我的儿子离开这里，好叫他事奉我。你还是拒绝让他离开，看哪！我必杀你的长子。’”

故我諭爾、宜釋吾子、俾其崇事於我、而爾不欲釋之、我必殺爾冢子、

故諭爾云、當釋我子、使為我服役、不然、必殺爾冢子。○

我命爾云、當釋我子去、使其往事我、爾若不釋之往、我必殺爾長子、○

and I told you,“ Let my son go, so he may worship me.” But you refused to let him go; so I will kill your firstborn son.’”

I told you,‘ Let my son go. Then he will be able to worship me.’ But you refused to let him go. So I will kill your oldest son.” ’ ”

and I say to you,“ Let my son go that he may serve me.” If you refuse to let him go, behold, I will kill your firstborn son.’”

I commanded you,“ Let my son go, so he can worship me.” But since you have refused, I will now kill your firstborn son!’”

I told you: Let my son go so that he may worship me, but you refused to let him go. Look, I am about to kill your firstborn son!”

So I said to you,‘ Let My son go so that he may serve Me’; but you have refused to let him go. Behold, I am going to kill your son, your firstborn.” ’ ”

So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, indeed I will kill your son, your firstborn.”’”

I told you: Let My son go so that he may worship Me, but you refused to let him go. Now I will kill your firstborn son!”

And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son,[ even] thy firstborn.

and I said to you,‘ Let my son go that he may serve me,’ but since you have refused to let him go, I will surely kill your son, your firstborn!”’”

and I have said to you,“ Let my son go, that he may serve me;” and you have refused to let him go. Behold, I will kill your firstborn son.’”

and all the first- born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first- born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first- born of the maid- servant that is behind the mill; and all the first- born of cattle.

And it came to pass at midnight, that Jehovah smote all the first- born in the land of Egypt, from the first- born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the first- born of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the first- born of cattle.

Who smote the first- born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;

He smote also all the first- born in their land, The chief of all their strength.

And smote all the first- born in Egypt, The chief of their strength in the tents of Ham.

And afterward Moses and Aaron came, and said unto Pharaoh, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.

And thou shalt say unto him, Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews, hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou hast not hearkened.
