后来守寡了，现在已经八十四岁。她从不离开圣殿，禁食祈祷，日夜事奉神。

耶和华啊，我要洗净双手表明清白，还要绕着你的祭坛而行，

那真正的寡妇，无依无靠，已经把盼望寄托于神，日夜不住地祈求祷告；

耶稣说：“洗过澡的人，除了脚以外，没有需要洗的；他是完全干净的。你们是干净的，但不是每个人都干净。”

他拯救了我们；这不是本于我们所做的义行，而是照着他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗涤和圣灵的更新。神藉着我们的救主耶稣基督，将圣灵丰丰富富地倾注在我们身上，

彼得却站在门外。后来，大祭司认识的那个门徒出来，对看门的说了一声，就把彼得带了进去。

那听从我、在我的门旁天天警醒、在我的门柱边守候的人，是蒙福的！

彼得坐在外面的院子里，有一个女仆过来对他说：“你也与那个加利利人耶稣是一伙的。”

从那信实的见证者、死人中首先复活的、地上众君王的元首耶稣基督，临到你们！他爱我们，用自己的血，把我们从我们的罪孽中释放出来，

因为这些只是关于饮食和各种洗净礼，是属肉体的规定，一直实施到更新的时候为止。

孩子们哪，不要让任何人迷惑你们。行义的人是公义的，正如基督是公义的。
