我們無論是猶太人是希臘人，是為奴的是自主的，都從一位聖靈受洗成了一個身體，並且共享這位聖靈。

我們反而要用愛心說誠實話，各方面向着基督長進，連於元首基督，靠着他全身都連接得緊湊，百節各按各職，照着各體的功用彼此相助，使身體漸漸增長，在愛中建立自己。

耶路撒冷被建造，如同連結整齊的一座城。

弟兄們，我藉我們主耶穌基督的名勸你們說話要一致。你們中間不可分裂，只要一心一意彼此團結。

他們天天同心合意恆切地在聖殿裏敬拜，且在家中擘餅，存着歡喜坦誠的心用飯，

看哪，弟兄和睦同住是何等的善，何等的美！

靠着他整座房子連接得緊湊，漸漸成為在主裏的聖殿。

他曾救我們脫離那極大的死亡，他要繼續救我們，而且我們指望他將來還要救我們。

能夠和眾聖徒一同明白基督的愛是何等的長、闊、高、深，並知道這愛是超過人的知識所能測度的，為要使你們充滿上帝一切的豐盛。
