不論是猶太人或希臘人，是奴隸或自由人，我們都領受了同一位聖靈的洗禮，歸入了同一個身體，同飲一位聖靈。

相反，我們說話要憑愛心堅持真理，在各方面都要追求長進，更像元首基督。整個身體靠祂巧妙地結合在一起，筋骨相連，彼此供應，使各部位各盡其職，身體便漸漸長大，在愛中建立起來。

耶路撒冷是一座整齊堅固的城。

親愛的弟兄姊妹，我奉主耶穌基督的名勸你們，要同心合意，不可結黨紛爭，要團結一致，

他們天天同心合意地聚集在聖殿裡敬拜上帝，又在各人家中擘餅聚會，以歡喜、慷慨的心分享食物，

看啊，弟兄和睦相處，多麼美好，多麼快樂！

整座建築的各部分都靠祂巧妙地連接在一起，逐漸成為主的聖殿。

祂曾救我們脫離死亡的威脅，將來還要救我們。我們深信祂必繼續救我們。

以便能夠與眾聖徒一同領悟基督的愛是多麼長闊高深，並知道基督的愛是遠超過人所能理解的愛，好叫上帝無限的豐富充滿你們。
