他又親眾兄弟，伏着他們哭。過後，他的兄弟就和他說話。

上帝又對摩西說：「你要對以色列人這樣說：『耶和華－你們祖宗的上帝，就是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝差派我到你們這裏來。』這是我的名，直到永遠；這也是我的稱號，直到萬代。

約瑟對他兄弟們說：「我就是約瑟。我的父親還在嗎？」他兄弟們不敢回答他，因為他們在他面前都很驚惶。

耶和華對摩西說：「你和亞倫、拿答、亞比戶，以及以色列長老中的七十人，都要上到耶和華這裏來，遠遠地下拜。只有摩西可以接近耶和華，其他的人卻不可接近；百姓也不可和他一同上來。」摩西下山，向百姓陳述耶和華一切的命令和典章。眾百姓齊聲說：「耶和華所吩咐的一切，我們都必遵行。」
