“ The first offspring of every womb belongs to me, including all the firstborn males of your livestock, whether from herd or flock.

“ Every male animal born first to its mother belongs to me. That includes your livestock. It includes herds and flocks alike.

All that open the womb are mine, all your male livestock, the firstborn of cow and sheep.

以色列人中、凡初胎生者、無論人畜、悉當區別歸我、

爾當以穀酒首熟者奉我、毋遲延、初胎之男亦必獻於我、

凡獻於我之首生者、無論人畜、悉歸於爾、但人之首生必贖、不潔之畜之首生亦必贖、贖人之首生、必自一月以上以銀贖之、循爾所估、以銀五舍客勒、按聖所之權衡、一舍客勒即二十季拉、惟首生之牛、與首生之綿羊山羊不可贖、俱為聖物、以其血灑於祭臺、焚其脂為馨香之火祭獻於主、

則必以一切初胎之男子、及爾畜中首生之牡畜、皆別之出、奉於主、

如主律法所載云、凡初胎之男、必稱聖歸主、

凡所獻之初實、與爾所舉獻之禮物、俱歸祭司、爾所獻之初麥屑、亦當予祭司、則福必臨爾家、
