他们失脚的时候，伸冤报应在我；因他们遭灾的日子近了；那要临在他们身上的必速速来到。

“看哪，我差遣使者在你前面，在路上保护你，领你到我所预备的地方去。

叫世上所流义人的血都归到你们身上，从义人亚伯的血起，直到你们在殿和坛中间所杀的巴拉加的儿子撒迦利亚的血为止。

不可跪拜那些像，也不可侍奉它，因为我耶和华你的神是忌邪的神。恨我的，我必追讨他的罪，自父及子，直到三四代；

“这恶会众向我发怨言，我忍耐他们要到几时呢？以色列人向我所发的怨言，我都听见了。你们告诉他们，耶和华说：‘我指着我的永生起誓，我必要照你们达到我耳中的话待你们。你们的尸首必倒在这旷野，并且你们中间凡被数点、从二十岁以外、向我发怨言的，必不得进我起誓应许叫你们住的那地；惟有耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚才能进去。

耶和华说：“我岂不因这些事讨罪呢？岂不报复这样的国民呢？

我也说：要将你们从埃及的困苦中领出来，往迦南人、赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的地去，就是到流奶与蜜之地。’

他们在一切苦难中，他也同受苦难；并且他面前的使者拯救他们；他以慈爱和怜悯救赎他们；在古时的日子常保抱他们，怀搋他们。

我们哀求耶和华的时候，他听了我们的声音，差遣使者把我们从埃及领出来。这事你都知道。如今，我们在你边界上的城加低斯。

还是你藐视他丰富的恩慈、宽容、忍耐，不晓得他的恩慈是领你悔改呢？你竟任着你刚硬不悔改的心，为自己积蓄忿怒，以致神震怒，显他公义审判的日子来到。他必照各人的行为报应各人。

耶和华说：“我必亲自和你同去，使你得安息。”摩西说：“你若不亲自和我同去，就不要把我们从这里领上去。

我要差遣使者在你前面，撵出迦南人、亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，

我讨以色列罪的日子，也要讨伯特利祭坛的罪；坛角必被砍下，坠落于地。

耶和华我们的神啊，你应允他们；你是赦免他们的神，却按他们所行的报应他们。
