The next day Moses said to the people,“ You have committed a great sin. But now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.”

And on the next day Moses said to the people,“ You yourselves have committed a great sin; and now I am going up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.”

Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses said to the people,“ You have committed a great sin. So now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.”

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto Jehovah; peradventure I shall make atonement for your sin.

The following day Moses said to the people,“ You have committed a grave sin. Now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I will be able to atone for your sin.”

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.

你們要喜愛良善，恨惡邪惡，在城門口伸張正義；這樣，耶和華萬軍的神或會恩待約瑟的餘民。

因為他自從使以色列從大衛家分裂出來後，他們就立了尼八的兒子耶羅波安作王，耶羅波安卻引誘以色列人不去跟從耶和華，又使他們犯了大罪。

為我的同胞，就是我骨肉之親，就算自己受咒詛，與基督隔絕，我也甘心。

你為甚麼藐視耶和華的話，行他看為惡的事呢？你用刀擊殺了赫人烏利亞，娶了他的妻子作你的妻子，你藉著亞捫人的刀殺了烏利亞。

我要起來，到我父親那裡去，對他說：爸爸，我得罪了天，也得罪了你，

耶和華對約伯說了這些話以後，就對提幔人以利法說：“我要向你和你的兩個朋友生氣，因為你們講論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的對。現在你們要為自己取七頭公牛、七隻公羊，到我的僕人約伯那裡去，為你們獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就替你們禱告；我悅納他的禱告，就不按照你們的愚昧待你們。你們講論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的對。”

基督替我們受了咒詛，就救贖我們脫離了律法的咒詛，因為經上記著：“凡掛在木頭上的，都是受咒詛的。”

所以你們應當彼此認罪，互相代求，這樣你們就可以痊愈。義人祈禱所發出的力量，是大有功效的。

或者神回心轉意，不發烈怒，使我們不致滅亡。’”

亞倫照著摩西吩咐的把香爐拿來，跑到會眾中間，果然，瘟疫已經在人民中間開始了；他就加上香，為人民贖罪。

這樣，那兩個青年人在耶和華面前所犯的罪很大，因為他們藐視獻給耶和華的祭物。

於是，摩西回到耶和華那裡，說：“唉，這人民犯了大罪，為自己做了金神像。現在，如果你肯赦免他們的罪，那就好了；如果不肯，求你從你所寫的冊上把我塗抹吧。”

以溫柔勸導那些對抗的人，或許神給他們悔改的心，可以認識真理。

所以我告訴你，她許多罪都蒙赦免了，因為她的愛多；那赦免少的，愛就少。”
