那些偶像鑲有經過錘煉的銀片，銀子是從他施運來的，也有從烏法運來的金子，都是匠人和金匠手作的產品。它們穿著藍色和紫色的衣服，全都是巧匠的作品。

米迦就把那十二公斤銀子歸還給他母親；他母親說：“我把這些銀子從我手中分別為聖，為我的兒子歸給耶和華，好做一個雕像，一個鑄像；現在，我要還給你。”米迦把銀子還給他母親以後，他母親取出二千三百克銀子交給銀匠，製造一個雕像和一個鑄像，都放在米迦的家裡。

那些從錢袋倒出金子，用天平稱銀子的人，雇用金匠製造神像；他們向神像又俯伏又叩拜。

至於偶像，是匠人鑄造的，鑄匠用金子把它包裹，用銀子為它做銀鍊。貧窮獻不起這供物的，就揀選不朽壞的樹木，為自己尋找巧匠，立起不會動搖的偶像。
