When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain.

As Moses approached the camp, he saw the calf. He also saw the people dancing. So he was very angry. He threw the tablets out of his hands. They broke into pieces at the foot of the mountain.

And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses’ anger burned hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

When they came near the camp, Moses saw the calf and the dancing, and he burned with anger. He threw the stone tablets to the ground, smashing them at the foot of the mountain.

我觀看，看哪，你們得罪了耶和華－你們的上帝，為自己鑄成了一頭牛犢，迅速偏離了耶和華所吩咐你們的道，我拿着那兩塊石版，從我雙手中扔出去，在你們眼前把它們摔碎了。

「『不堅守遵行這律法之話的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』」

我又折斷第二根杖，就是稱為「聯合」的那根杖，表明我廢棄猶大與以色列弟兄間的情誼。

這約不像我拉着他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約。我雖作他們的丈夫，他們卻背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。

摩西就懇求耶和華－他的上帝，說：「耶和華啊，你為甚麼向你的百姓發烈怒呢？這百姓是你用大能大力的手從埃及地領出來的！

即使生氣也不要犯罪；不可含怒到日落，

耶穌看見就很生氣，對門徒說：「讓小孩到我這裏來，不要阻止他們，因為在上帝國的正是這樣的人。

大衛穿着細麻布以弗得，在耶和華面前極力跳舞。

但是我告訴你們：凡向弟兄動怒的，必須受審判；凡罵弟兄是廢物的，必須受議會的審判；凡罵弟兄是白痴的，必須遭受地獄的火。

我們心中的快樂止息，跳舞轉為悲哀。

耶穌怒目環視他們，因他們的心剛硬而憂傷，就對那人說：「伸出手來！」他把手一伸，手就復原了。

那時，米利暗女先知，亞倫的姊姊，手裏拿着鈴鼓；眾婦女也跟她出去打鼓跳舞。

我拿起那根稱為「恩惠」的杖，折斷它，表明我廢棄與萬民所立的約。當日約就廢了。因此，那些羊羣中最困苦的，看着我，就知道這真是耶和華的話。

摩西為人極其謙和，勝過地面上的任何人。

亞倫從他們手裏接過來，用模子塑造它，把它鑄成一頭牛犢。他們就說：「以色列啊，這是領你出埃及地的神明！」亞倫看見，就在牛犢面前築壇。亞倫宣告說：「明日要向耶和華守節。」次日清早，百姓起來獻燔祭和平安祭，就坐下吃喝，起來玩樂。
