When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain.

As Moses approached the camp, he saw the calf. He also saw the people dancing. So he was very angry. He threw the tablets out of his hands. They broke into pieces at the foot of the mountain.

And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses’ anger burned hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

When they came near the camp, Moses saw the calf and the dancing, and he burned with anger. He threw the stone tablets to the ground, smashing them at the foot of the mountain.

我觀看，見你們自己鑄造了牛犢，很快就離開了耶和華吩咐你們走的道路。我拿著那兩塊石版，從我兩手中扔下去，在你們眼前摔碎了。

“‘不堅守這律法的話去遵行的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’”

我又折斷那稱為“聯合”的另一根杖，表示要廢除猶大和以色列之間的手足之情。

這新約不像從前我拉他們祖先的手，領他們出埃及地的日子，與他們所立的約；我雖然是他們的丈夫，他們卻違背了我的約。”這是耶和華的宣告。

摩西就懇求耶和華他的神施恩，說：“耶和華啊，你為甚麼向你的人民發烈怒呢？這人民是你用大能和全能的手從埃及地領出來的。

生氣卻不要犯罪；含怒不可到日落。

耶穌看見了就生氣，對門徒說：“讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們，因為神的國是屬於這樣的人的。

大衛束著細麻布的以弗得，在耶和華面前極力跳舞。

可是我告訴你們，凡是向弟兄發怒的，都要被判罪。誰若罵弟兄：‘你這蠢貨！（蠢貨：原文音譯是“拉加”，是亞蘭文侮辱別人的用語。）’，就要被公議會判罪；誰若罵：‘你這白痴！（白痴：原文是希臘文罵人的詞語，但是有少數學者認為這詞語是源於希伯來文，而把它音譯為“魔利”，意思是“叛徒”。）’，就罪該送入烈火的地獄。

我們心裡不再歡樂；我們的舞蹈變為哀哭。

耶穌怒目環視他們，因他們的心剛硬而難過，就對那人說：“伸出手來！”他把手一伸，手就復原了。

亞倫的姊姊女先知米利暗，手裡拿著鼓；所有的婦女都跟著她出來，擊鼓跳舞。

然後，我拿起我那根稱為“恩寵”的杖，把它折斷，表示要廢除我與萬民所立的約；那約就在當日廢除了。這樣，那些仰望我的困苦羊群，就知道這是耶和華的話。

摩西為人十分謙和，勝過世上所有的人。

亞倫從他們手中接過來，用雕刻的工具雕刻，鑄造了一個牛像；他們就說：“以色列啊，這就是你們的神，就是把你從埃及地領出來的那位。”亞倫看見了，就在牛像面前築了一座祭壇，並且宣告，說：“明日是耶和華的節日。”次日清早，人民起來，就獻上了燔祭，也帶來了平安祭；然後他們坐下吃喝，起來玩樂。
