Whenever they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting a food offering to the Lord,

亞拿尼亞聞此言、仆而氣絕、聞者皆大懼、

耶和華怒烏撒、因其伸手扶匱而擊之、遂死於上帝前、

故我儕既受不震之國、宜感恩而以虔恭寅畏、崇事上帝、為其所悅、蓋我之上帝、乃焚燬之火也、

亞倫二子詣耶和華前而死、厥後耶和華諭摩西曰、告爾兄亞倫云、聖所㡘內、法匱施恩座前、毋頻入之、免其死亡、緣我必乘雲見於施恩座上、

七日間、當食無酵餅、首日必於爾室除酵、自首日至七日、凡食酵者、必絕於以色列、

婦即仆其足前而氣絕、少者入、見其已死、舁之出、葬於夫側、
