按圣所的秤计算，从登记的人口所收到的银子是三点四二吨。这是所有登记的、年龄在二十岁以上的人所缴纳的银子，共有六十万三千五百五十人，每人交六克银子，以圣所的秤为准。铸造圣所带凹槽的底座和帷幔柱子带凹槽的底座共用了三点四吨银子，共铸造了一百个底座，每个底座用了三十四公斤银子。剩下的二十公斤银子用来制造柱子上的钩子和横杆以及包柱顶。百姓奉献的铜共有二点四吨，用来制造会幕入口带凹槽的底座、祭坛、坛上的铜网及一切器具、院子周围和院子入口带凹槽的底座以及圣幕、院子周围所有的橛子。

我们为自己定下律例，每人每年捐献四克银子，供我们上帝的殿使用，以支付供饼、日常献的素祭和燔祭，安息日、朔日和其他节期所献的圣物，为以色列人献上的赎罪祭，以及我们上帝殿中的各项费用。

你们要记住这一天，守为耶和华的节期，作为世世代代永远的定例。

接着，祂拿起饼来，祝谢后，掰开递给他们，说：“这是我为你们牺牲的身体，你们今后也要这样做，以纪念我。”
