“ Now you shall make an altar as a place for burning incense; you shall make it of acacia wood.

「你要用皂莢木造一座燒香用的壇。

“你要做一座燒香的壇，你要用皂莢木做這座壇。

『你要作一座壇做燒香的地方，用皂莢木來作。

以皂莢木作焚香壇、

必以皂莢木作壇、焚香其上、

爾以什停木作焚香臺、

“ Make an altar of acacia wood for burning incense.

“ Make an altar for burning incense. Make it out of acacia wood.

“ You shall make an altar on which to burn incense; you shall make it of acacia wood.

“ Then make another altar of acacia wood for burning incense.

“ You are to make an altar for the burning of incense; make it of acacia wood.

“ You shall make an altar to burn incense on; you shall make it of acacia wood.

And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: of acacia wood shalt thou make it.

“ You are to make an altar for the burning of incense; make it of acacia wood.

And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon:[ of] shittim wood shalt thou make it.

“ You are to make an altar for burning incense; you are to make it of acacia wood.

“ You shall make an altar to burn incense on. You shall make it of acacia wood.

Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.

Then he made the altar of incense of acacia wood: a cubit long and a cubit wide, square, and two cubits high; its horns were of one piece with it.And he overlaid it with pure gold, its top and its sides all around, and its horns; and he made a gold molding for it all around.He also made two golden rings for it under its molding, on its two sides— on opposite sides— as holders for poles with which to carry it.And he made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.

You shall also set the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the testimony, and set up the curtain for the doorway to the tabernacle.

The priest shall also put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense which is before the Lord in the tent of meeting; and all the rest of the blood of the bull he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.

Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims the lamps.And when Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense. There shall be perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations.

But when he became strong, his heart was so proud that he acted corruptly, and he was untrue to the Lord his God, for he entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense.

The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits in length, twenty cubits in width, and twenty cubits in height; and he overlaid it with pure gold. He also paneled the altar with cedar.

However, Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once a year; he shall make atonement on it with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once a year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the Lord.”

He shall then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before the Lord in the tent of meeting; and all the rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering which is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.
