So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

So I have come down to save them from the Egyptians. I will bring them up out of that land. I will bring them into a good land. It has a lot of room. It is a land that has plenty of milk and honey. The Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites live there.

and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey— the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.

Then Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die. But God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land he promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” (niv)

On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said,“ To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates—the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites,Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites,Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.” (niv)

And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites— a land flowing with milk and honey.’ (niv)

Taking with them some of the fruit of the land, they brought it down to us and reported,“ It is a good land that the Lord our God is giving us.” (niv)

When the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites— the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey— you are to observe this ceremony in this month: (niv)

Then I will fulfill the oath I swore to your ancestors, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey’— the land you possess today.” I answered,“ Amen, Lord.” (niv)

On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands. (niv)

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land— a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills;a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey;a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. “ Therefore, say to the Israelites:‘ I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.And I will bring you to the land I swore with uplifted hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.’” (niv)

They gave Moses this account:“ We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. (niv)

He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. (niv)

And on that very day the Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt by their divisions. (niv)

and so that you may live long in the land the Lord swore to your ancestors to give to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden.But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven.It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today— to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul—then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil.I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.Then the Lord’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the Lord is giving you.Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates,so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow— to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him—then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you.Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. (niv)

You gave them this land you had sworn to give their ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey. (niv)

No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven— the Son of Man. (niv)

that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know.” (niv)

“ You gave them kingdoms and nations, allotting to them even the remotest frontiers. They took over the country of Sihon king of Heshbon and the country of Og king of Bashan.You made their children as numerous as the stars in the sky, and you brought them into the land that you told their parents to enter and possess.Their children went in and took possession of the land. You subdued before them the Canaanites, who lived in the land; you gave the Canaanites into their hands, along with their kings and the peoples of the land, to deal with them as they pleased.They captured fortified cities and fertile land; they took possession of houses filled with all kinds of good things, wells already dug, vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees in abundance. They ate to the full and were well-nourished; they reveled in your great goodness. (niv)

In you our ancestors put their trust; they trusted and you delivered them.To you they cried out and were saved; in you they trusted and were not put to shame. (niv)

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. (niv)

I will send an angel before you and drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people and I might destroy you on the way.” (niv)

He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey;and now I bring the firstfruits of the soil that you, Lord, have given me.” Place the basket before the Lord your God and bow down before him.Then you and the Levites and the foreigners residing among you shall rejoice in all the good things the Lord your God has given to you and your household.When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.Then say to the Lord your God:“ I have removed from my house the sacred portion and have given it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, according to all you commanded. I have not turned aside from your commands nor have I forgotten any of them.I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while I was in mourning, nor have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor have I offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the Lord my God; I have done everything you commanded me.Look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised on oath to our ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey.” (niv)

Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you. (niv)

If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry.My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.“ If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest.If you take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge, return it by sunset,because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in? When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.“ Do not blaspheme God or curse the ruler of your people.“ Do not hold back offerings from your granaries or your vats.“ You must give me the firstborn of your sons.Do the same with your cattle and your sheep. Let them stay with their mothers for seven days, but give them to me on the eighth day.“ You are to be my holy people. So do not eat the meat of an animal torn by wild beasts; throw it to the dogs. What kind of land do they live in? Is it good or bad? What kind of towns do they live in? Are they unwalled or fortified? (niv)

But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. (niv)

and said to the entire Israelite assembly,“ The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good.If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. (niv)

When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations— the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you— (niv)

“ Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord.“ I will protect them from those who malign them.” (niv)

Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah, in the mountains, in the western foothills, in the Negev and along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the Euphrates. (niv)

But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions. (niv)

The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him,“ Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west.All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. (niv)

You found his heart faithful to you, and you made a covenant with him to give to his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites. You have kept your promise because you are righteous. (niv)

The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity— in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground— in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. (niv)

Obey what I command you today. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. (niv)

Now when all the kings west of the Jordan heard about these things— the kings in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea as far as Lebanon( the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites)— (niv)

Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” (niv)

Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! (niv)

I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit and rich produce. But you came and defiled my land and made my inheritance detestable. (niv)

He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet.He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind.He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him— the dark rain clouds of the sky.Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning.The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy, with great bolts of lightning he routed them.The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at your rebuke, Lord, at the blast of breath from your nostrils.He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support.He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.
