Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Moses was taking care of the flock of his father- in- law Jethro. Jethro was the priest of Midian. Moses led the flock to the western side of the desert. He came to Horeb. It was the mountain of God.

Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

One day Moses was tending the flock of his father in law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God.

Meanwhile, Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Now Moses was pasturing the flock of his father in law Jethro, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro his father- in- law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to the mountain of God, unto Horeb.

Meanwhile, Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God,[ even] to Horeb.

Now Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to the mountain of God, to Horeb.

遂起、食而飲、賴此食之力、行四十晝夜、至天主之山何烈、

摩西謂其妻兄妻兄或作外舅米甸人流珥子何巴伯曰、我儕往主所許賜我之地、求爾與我偕往、我儕必厚待爾、因主曾許賜恩於以色列人、

我必在何烈磐上對爾立、爾擊磐、水必由磐出、使民得飲、摩西於以色列長老前、如是而行、

摩西妻兄妻兄或作外舅何巴、其後裔基尼人希百、曾離基尼族、張幕於近基叠之撒拿音橡樹旁、

亞摩斯對亞瑪謝曰、我非先知、亦非先知之子、子或作弟子我乃牧者、摘野無花果野無花果或作桑葚者、我守群羊、主選我、原文作主由群羊後選我主又命我曰、往哉、述預言於我民以色列人眾、

曰、勿近此、解屨於爾足、蓋爾立之所乃聖地、

民在何烈、鑄造牛犢、崇拜所鑄之形像、

昔爾在何烈、立於主爾天主前之日、主諭我曰、為我集民、使聽我言、俾生存於世之時學習敬畏我、又教子孫亦如是、或作學習敬畏我至於終身亦以教子

又特選僕人大衛、召之於羊牢中、使其離棄牝羊、來牧養己民雅各、牧養子民以色列、彼存正直心以牧養之、以巧妙之手引導之、

摩西與侍者約書亞興、摩西獨登天主山、

摩西外舅米甸祭司葉忒羅、聞天主為摩西與其民以色列人所行之事、即主導以色列人出伊及之事、遂以摩西妻西坡拉、即昔摩西所遣歸父家者、及其二子皆挈之以至、此二子、其一摩西命名革順、革順譯即在異邦為旅之義蓋曰、我為旅於異邦也、其一命名以利亞撒、以利亞撒譯即天主救助之義蓋曰、我父之天主救助我、拯我脫於法老之刀云、摩西外舅葉忒羅、挈摩西二子、及摩西妻、往就摩西於野、近天主山、摩西張幕處、先遣人告摩西曰、爾外舅我葉忒羅、挈爾妻及其二子、偕來就爾、

摩西上詣天主前、主於山召摩西命之曰、爾當如是告雅各家、諭以色列人云、

猶大王烏西亞、以色列王約阿施子耶羅波安在位時、地震前二年、提哥亞諸牧中亞摩斯、得默示論以色列、其言如左、

預備第三日、因第三日、我耶和華當眾民前必降於西乃山、

主諭亞倫曰、爾往曠野迎摩西、亞倫遂往、迎之於天主山、與之接吻、

女歸見父流珥、父曰、今日爾歸之速何故、

爾曹當記憶我僕摩西所傳之律法、即昔在何烈、我命彼傳於以色列民眾之律例法度、

米甸祭司有七女、悉來汲水盈槽、欲飲父之羊、

昔在何烈、主我之天主諭我云、爾居此山、為日已久、

摩西登山、山被雲蔽、主之榮光顯於西乃山、雲蔽山六日、至第七日、主自雲中召摩西、主之榮光在山巔、狀如烈火、在以色列人目前、

耶穌遊於迦利利海濱、見兄弟二人、即西門稱彼得、與其弟安得烈、二人施網於海、蓋漁者也、耶穌謂之曰、從我、我將使爾為漁人之漁者、

摩西願偕其人居、其人以女西坡拉、予摩西為妻、

斯地有牧者、居郊野、夜守群羊、
