按着律法，几乎每样东西都是用血洁净的；没有流血，就没有赦罪。这样，照着天上样式做的物件必须用这些礼仪去洁净，但那天上的一切，自然当用更美的祭物去洁净。

要用这膏油抹会幕和法柜，

靠着圣地并排剩余的，东长一万肘，西长一万肘；它与圣地并排，其中所出产的要作城内工人的食物。以色列支派中所有在城内做工的，都要耕种这地。你们要将整块四方的圣地，长二万五千肘，宽二万五千肘，连同城的用地都献作圣地。

作赎罪祭的公牛和作赎罪祭的公山羊的血被带入圣所赎罪之后，就要把这牛羊搬到营外，皮、肉、粪都用火焚烧。

因以色列人的不洁净和过犯，就是他们一切的罪，他要为圣所赎罪；因会幕在他们不洁净之中，他也要为会幕照样做。他进圣所赎罪的时候，会幕里都不准有人，直等到他为自己和家人，以及以色列全会众赎了罪出来。他出来后，要到耶和华面前的祭坛那里，为坛赎罪。他要取一些公牛的血和公山羊的血，抹在坛周围的四个翘角上。他也要用手指把血弹在坛上七次，使坛从以色列人的不洁净中得以洁净，成为圣。”

摩西用膏油抹帐幕和其中所有的，使它们成为圣。他又用膏油在祭坛上弹了七次，抹了坛和坛的一切器皿，以及洗濯盆和盆座，使它们成为圣。

七日内，你要每日献一只公山羊为赎罪祭，也要献一头公牛犊和羊群中的一只公绵羊，都要没有残疾的。

你要用膏油抹帐幕和其中所有的，使帐幕和一切器具分别为圣，就都成为圣。又要抹燔祭坛和坛的一切器具，使坛分别为圣，坛就成为至圣。要抹洗濯盆和盆座，使盆分别为圣。

摩西竖立帐幕后，就用膏抹了帐幕，使它分别为圣，又用膏抹其中的一切器具，以及祭坛和坛上的一切器具，使它们分别为圣。

满了七日，自八日以后，祭司要在坛上献你们的燔祭和平安祭；我必悦纳你们。这是主耶和华说的。”

“你要把公牛牵到会幕前，亚伦和他的儿子要按手在公牛的头上。你要在耶和华面前，在会幕的门口宰这公牛。要取些公牛的血，用指头抹在祭坛的四个翘角上，把其余的血全倒在坛的底座上。要把所有包着内脏的脂肪、肝上的网油、两个肾和肾上的脂肪，都烧在坛上。只是公牛的肉、皮、粪都要在营外用火焚烧；这牛是赎罪祭。
