他們進內院門的時候、必須穿細麻服裝；他們在內院門和裏面供職的時候、身上不可穿羊毛衣服。他們頭上要戴細麻布華帽，腰間要穿細麻布褲子；不可用易於使人出汗的東西來裝束。

給亞倫和他兒子們束上長腰帶，給他們包上裹頭巾，他們就憑着永遠的條例、得祭司的職任：你要這樣授與聖職給亞倫和他兒子們。

摩西把亞倫的兒子們帶來，給他們穿上內袍，束上長腰帶，包上裹頭巾：照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。

你們的妝飾呢、不應當是外面的辮頭髮、戴金飾、或穿衣裳的妝飾，乃應當是內心隱藏着的人、以柔和安靜的心靈為不朽壞的妝飾：這在上帝面前是很貴的。

女人呢、我卻願她們用雅素的打扮、以廉恥和克己去妝飾自己，不以編髮和黃金、或珍珠或很貴的服裝，乃是要用善行來妝飾：這才是自許為敬拜上帝的女人所適合作的。

不私拿東西，卻證顯出十分實在的忠誠，好在一切事上給我們的拯救者上帝之教義增光彩。

你凡事要顯出你自己是好行為的榜樣，在教導上不腐化，能莊重，

他們拿麻絲線、用編織的方法、給亞倫和他的兒子們作內袍，又拿麻絲布作禮冠，拿麻絲布作華美裹頭巾，拿撚的麻絲作細麻布褲子；又拿撚的麻絲和藍紫色紫紅色朱紅色線、用刺繡者的方法作長腰帶：照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。

你們年輕的、照樣要順服年長的。你們眾人、彼此相待、都要以謙卑為裝束；因為上帝敵擋狂傲的，賜恩給謙卑的人。

但那些定意要致富的人就陷落試誘和網羅、跟許多無知而有害的私慾、令人沉沒於敗壞和滅亡中的私慾。因為貪財即是萬惡之根；有人一心要貪財，就受迷離背了信仰，拿許多傷痛刺透了自己。但是你呢、屬上帝的人哪，你要逃避這些事：你要追求正義、敬虔、忠信、仁愛、堅忍、柔和之情。
