Aaron and his sons must keep the lamps burning in the tent of meeting. The lamps will be outside the curtain in front of the tablets of the covenant law. The lamps must be kept burning in front of the Lord from evening until morning. This is a law for the Israelites that will last for all time to come.

In the tent of meeting, outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to be observed throughout their generations by the people of Israel.

The lampstand will stand in the Tabernacle, in front of the inner curtain that shields the Ark of the Covenant. Aaron and his sons must keep the lamps burning in the Lord’s presence all night. This is a permanent law for the people of Israel, and it must be observed from generation to generation.

In the tent of meeting outside the curtain that is in front of the testimony, Aaron and his sons are to tend the lamp from evening until morning before the LORD. This is to be a permanent statute for the Israelites throughout their generations.

This is a lasting ordinance for them.“ The man who sprinkles the water of cleansing must also wash his clothes, and anyone who touches the water of cleansing will be unclean till evening.

It is the Levites who are to do the work at the tent of meeting and bear the responsibility for any offenses they commit against it. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. They will receive no inheritance among the Israelites.

“ This is to be a lasting ordinance for you: Atonement is to be made once a year for all the sins of the Israelites.” And it was done, as the Lord commanded Moses.

The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was.

“‘ This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.’”

He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.

Every morning and evening they present burnt offerings and fragrant incense to the Lord. They set out the bread on the ceremonially clean table and light the lamps on the gold lampstand every evening. We are observing the requirements of the Lord our God. But you have forsaken him.

Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they will not incur guilt and die.“ This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants.

David made this a statute and ordinance for Israel from that day to this.

Grind some of it to powder and place it in front of the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.

lay your hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.

For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

Outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps before the Lord from evening till morning, continually. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.

“ Make a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, with cherubim woven into it by a skilled worker.Hang it with gold hooks on four posts of acacia wood overlaid with gold and standing on four silver bases.Hang the curtain from the clasps and place the ark of the covenant law behind the curtain. The curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place.

“ For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth.

“ So I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests.

Then put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law, which I will give you.

John was a lamp that burned and gave light, and you chose for a time to enjoy his light.

As the Lord commanded Moses, Aaron put the manna with the tablets of the covenant law, so that it might be preserved.

God called the vault“ sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning— the second day.

“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

God called the light“ day,” and the darkness he called“ night.” And there was evening, and there was morning— the first day.

and fasten caps on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons. The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance.“ Then you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.“ Bring the bull to the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.

It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in the sanctuary area, because it is a most holy part of their perpetual share of the food offerings presented to the Lord.”

Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord.

Bring the Levites to the front of the tent of meeting and assemble the whole Israelite community.

the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”

This is always to be the perpetual share from the Israelites for Aaron and his sons. It is the contribution the Israelites are to make to the Lord from their fellowship offerings.

Place the cover on top of the ark and put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law that I will give you.There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites.

We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

Place the ark of the covenant law in it and shield the ark with the curtain.

“ Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning,

“ For the generations to come this burnt offering is to be made regularly at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the Lord. There I will meet you and speak to you;
