“你要吩咐以色列民把打成的纯橄榄油拿来给你，是为点灯用的，使灯常常点着。

“你要取最上等的香料，就是流质的没药六公升，香肉桂是没药的一半，就是三公斤，香昌蒲三公斤。肉桂皮六公斤，都要按着圣所的标准重量，又橄榄油四公斤。你要把这些材料制成圣膏油，就是照着香膏配制师的方法配制成的香膏，是要作为圣膏油的。你要用这膏油抹会幕和法柜，桌子和桌子的所有器具，灯台和灯台的器具，以及香坛，燔祭坛和坛上的所有器具，盆和盆座；你要使它们成圣，使它们成为至圣；凡是触着它们的，都要成圣。你也要膏抹亚伦和他的儿子，好使他们成圣，作我的祭司。你要告诉以色列人说：‘你们世世代代要把这油归我为圣膏油。不可倒在常人的身上，也不可照着这配制的分量制相似的膏油；这膏油是圣的，你们也要以它为圣。无论谁配制相似的膏油，或把这膏油抹在外人的身上，这人就一定要从他的族人中被剪除。’”耶和华对摩西说：“你要取芬芳的香料，就是苏合香、香锭、白松香；这芬芳的香料和纯净的乳香，各样都要分量相等。你要照着香膏配制师的方法，用这些加上盐调和制成香，是清净圣洁的。你要取一部分香，把它研成碎末，放在会幕里法柜前，就是我要与你相会的地方。你们要以这香为至圣。你所制的香，你们不可按着它的分量为自己配制；你要以这香为圣归给耶和华。无论谁制香和这香相似，为要闻香的味道的，这人就一定要从他的族人中被剪除。”

摩西把灯台设立在会幕里，在帐幕的南面，与桌子相对。在耶和华面前把灯盏点着，是照着耶和华吩咐摩西的。

你要做灯台上的七个灯盏，这些灯盏要放在灯台之上，使灯光照亮对面的地方。
