Then put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law, which I will give you.

I will give you the tablets of the covenant law. When I do, put them into the ark.

And you shall put into the ark the testimony that I shall give you.

When the Ark is finished, place inside it the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, which I will give to you.

Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

[ There was] nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made[ a covenant] with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein[ was] the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.

And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.

And thou shalt beat[ some] of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.

In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which[ is] before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD:[ it shall be] a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.

Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

And he brought forth the king’s son, and put the crown upon him, and[ gave him] the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king.

And thou shalt put it before the vail that[ is] by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that[ is] over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.

Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony[ were] in his hand: the tables[ were] written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other[ were] they written.

And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of the LORD[ given] by Moses.And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan.

And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.And I made an ark[ of] shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.
