In this way you will purge evil from among you.The rest of the people will hear and become afraid to keep doing such evil among you.You must not show pity; the principle will be a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a hand for a hand, and a foot for a foot.

Do not enter the path of the wicked or walk in the way of those who are evil.Avoid it, do not go on it; turn away from it, and go on.

The LORD is slow to anger but great in power; the LORD will certainly not allow the wicked to go unpunished. He marches out in the whirlwind and the raging storm; dark storm clouds billow like dust under his feet.
