於是在軍營、在田野、在眾百姓中，人心惶惶，駐軍和突擊隊都戰兢；地也震動，這是從神那裏來的驚恐。

萬民聽見就戰抖；疼痛抓住非利士的居民。那時，以東的族長驚惶，摩押的英雄被戰兢抓住，迦南所有的居民都融化。驚駭恐懼臨到他們；耶和華啊，因你膀臂的大能，他們如石頭寂靜不動，等候你百姓過去，等候你所贖的百姓過去。
